Note: If installing this manifold with a Grid Heater Delete Plate, an IAT Sensor Extension Harness is required. The factory wiring is too short for the new sensor position. Ensure a perfect, plug-and-play fit by adding the harness to your order.

Installation

Before Installation

• Confirm the truck is a supported 2007.5-2024 Ram 2500/3500 pickup with a 6.7L Cummins.
• Confirm the correct 2007.5-2018 or 2019-2024 version, manifold finish and optional delete-plate configuration.
• Allow the engine to cool, disconnect the batteries and clean the work area around the intake system.
• Have the supplied manifold, gasket, replacement fuel line, hardware and NPT plugs ready. If using a grid heater delete plate, obtain the required IAT Sensor Extension Harness.
• Review the supplied instructions and verify the truck's EGR hardware and calibration before disassembly.

Basic Installation Steps

1. Remove the intake components required to access the factory intake manifold and grid-heater assembly.
2. Disconnect the related electrical connectors and fuel-line components as directed for the selected model year.
3. Remove the factory intake assembly and clean the sealing surface without allowing debris to enter the engine.
4. Install the supplied gasket and position the SPELAB intake manifold on the factory mounting points.
5. Install the supplied replacement fuel line so it clears the round 3.5-inch intake tube.
6. Install the NPT plugs or compatible accessories in the two 1/8-inch NPT ports, using an appropriate thread-sealing method for the application.
7. Connect the integrated heating element according to the supplied electrical instructions. If using a grid heater delete plate, install the IAT Sensor Extension Harness.
8. Reinstall the remaining intake components, reconnect the batteries and check all connections before starting the engine.

After Installation

• Start the engine and inspect for air, fuel or electrical issues.
• Verify that hoses, wiring and the replacement fuel line do not contact hot or moving components.
• Recheck accessible fasteners and connections after the first heat cycle.
