Rear Air Spring Suspension Kits — Level Your Load, Tame the Sag
A rear air spring suspension kit adds adjustable air springs to your truck's rear axle to support heavy loads, eliminate squat and sag, and keep your rig level and stable when towing or hauling. The kits in this collection are engineered for the hardest-working half-ton and three-quarter-ton trucks — Dodge RAM, Ford Super Duty and Chevrolet/GMC — so your truck rides composed empty and confident loaded.
What Is a Rear Air Spring Kit?
An air spring kit mounts reinforced, flexible air springs (air bags) between your rear axle and frame, in parallel with the factory leaf or coil springs. Each spring is inflated with air through a line that runs to an in-cab switch and compressor (or a manual fill valve). More air pressure = more support; less air = a softer ride. Instead of a fixed steel spring doing all the work, the air springs share the load and let you dial in the rear height and firmness for whatever you are carrying that day.
The Problems Air Springs Solve
If any of these sound familiar, your rear suspension is asking for help:
- The rear squats when you hook up a trailer. The nose lifts, your headlights point at oncoming traffic, and the steering goes light and vague — an unsafe combination at highway speeds.
- The truck bottoms out over bumps when loaded. Leaf springs that are maxed out have nothing left to absorb a dip, so the axle bangs the bump stops and the whole cab jars.
- The trailer sways and porpoises. With the rear overloaded and soft, a crosswind or a semi's wake walks the trailer side to side and the back end pumps up and down.
- Your daily commute rides harsh. Stiffer overload springs that were fine for the job site make every pothole unpleasant when the bed is empty.
- The truck sits permanently low. Older trucks with tired, sagging factory springs develop a permanent nose-high rake that looks wrong and hurts handling.
- Every load is different. Monday it is an empty commute; Friday it is a camper, a car trailer or a bed full of gravel. A fixed spring can't be right for both.
Why Add Rear Air Springs?
- Level under load — stops the rear from squatting, keeps headlights aimed down the road and steering weighted
- More stable towing — reduces body roll, porpoising and bottoming out so the trailer tracks straight
- Adjustable support — air up for heavy loads, air down for a softer empty-road ride
- Protects your truck — less sag means less strain on leaf springs, shocks and driveline angles
- Bolt-on install — mounts to the existing rear suspension with no welding; air lines run to a compressor and switch or a manual fill valve
Not a Lift — A Load-Leveling Upgrade
Air springs are a leveling and load-support solution, not a full suspension lift. They restore factory ride height under load and reduce sag, keeping your headlights pointed down the road and your trailer tracking straight — without raising the truck beyond its intended range when unloaded.
Find Your Fitment
Each kit is built to a specific year, make and model, so fitment is simple: match your truck to the list below. Covers the 2014-2022 RAM 2500, 2011-2016 Ford F250/F350 Super Duty, 2001-2010 Chevy/GMC 2500HD and 1999-2018 Chevy/GMC 1500. Not sure which kit you need? Confirm your truck's year and axle before ordering.

I got burned with a Banks manifold when their #1 proprietary fuel line split on me. This manifold takes care of that! It was an easy swap out, and worked with the banks plate.
Great Product. Quality seems really good too.
Bought a intake manifold from spelab for my 3500 6.7 cummins, and it works perfect, shipping was fast all parts included. Great company to deal with, highly recommended.
Installation was easy
Absolutely perfect fit! Super easy to install did move gasket from downpipe to DPF and reused but overall extremely pleased!
I bought the Chinese knock off because SPE Motorsports won’t sell it. As advertised. I’m sure it’ll do.
Purchased for my 2011 ram 2500 6.7 Cummins. Great product all the sensors holes lined up perfectly helped with acceleration a lot more responsive now on acceleration
Installed on a 14 3500, seamless install maybe takes 10min. Definitely opens intake up. Noticeably more sound. Not sure any performance gains other than throttle response
I’ve purchased the EGR and CCV deletes as well as the upgraded intake manifold, upper radiator hose and thermostat block, and compressed air piping. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality and fit of all of the parts. Some of the instructions could use a little more detail, but if you are in any way mechanically inclined, you’ll be able to do these yourself no problem. I did have to make a very small modification to the aluminum quick connector on the upper radiator hose in order to get it to lock in place, but other than that everything has been great!
Works amazing and easy to install
too good to not change them!
Slowly piecing this thing back together for the freedom meet this weekend 🤟
Needs more blue 💙
I put these on a ugly farm truck with a cammed LS swap and to keep the ugly “sleeper” feel we had these installed and they worked great for us 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Fast delivery and nice finish on parts
A rear air spring kit adds air springs to your truck's rear suspension to level the load, reduce squat and sag when towing or hauling, and improve stability and ride control. It supports the rear end under weight so your truck stays level and composed instead of nose-up and bottoming out.
This collection covers four fitments: 2014-2022 Dodge Ram 2500, 2011-2016 Ford F250/F350 Super Duty, 2001-2010 Chevrolet/GMC 2500HD, and 1999-2018 Chevrolet/GMC 1500. Pick the kit that matches your truck's year, make and model from the list below.
It is a leveling and load-support upgrade, not a full lift. Air springs restore factory ride height under load and reduce sag - they do not raise the truck when unloaded beyond the intended range.
Most kits are bolt-on and mount to the existing rear suspension with no welding required. You run air lines to an included compressor and switch (or a manual fill valve), which is a manageable DIY job for most truck owners.
Yes - air springs are designed for towing and hauling. They add rear support and stability, reduce body roll and bottoming out, and let you dial in firmness for the load you are carrying.
