Powerstroke CCV
If you drive a 2011–2024 Ford F250, F350, or F450 with a 6.7L Powerstroke engine, keeping your CCV (Crankcase Ventilation) system in top shape is crucial to long-term performance. The factory CCV system on 6.7 Powerstroke trucks recirculates oil vapor into the intake, which over time leads to clogged sensors, gummed-up intercooler piping, and reduced turbo efficiency. That’s why diesel owners are turning to SPELAB’s 6.7 Powerstroke CCV delete kits and reroute systems—to eliminate these problems for good. Whether you're commuting daily or towing heavy loads, upgrading your Powerstroke CCV system helps keep your intake clean and combustion strong.
Why the Factory CCV System Fails on the 6.7 Powerstroke
From the 2015 Ford F350 6.7L Powerstroke to the 2022 F250 Super Duty, the factory-installed CCV system prioritizes emissions compliance over long-term performance. However, as miles accumulate, this design reveals several critical flaws.
One major issue lies in the CCV filter on a 6.7 Powerstroke. As the filter becomes saturated with oil mist, internal crankcase pressure begins to rise. This can lead to oil being forced past turbo seals, valve cover gaskets, and intercooler connections—resulting in oil leaks, power loss, and costly repairs.
In addition, the recycled blow-by gases re-enter the intake system, coating the MAP and IAT sensors with oily residue. Over time, this contamination reduces airflow efficiency, raises exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs), and increases the risk of carbon buildup—especially on trucks equipped with EGR systems.
Upgrading to a 6.7 Powerstroke CCV delete kit or reroute system solves these problems by redirecting oil vapor away from the intake and maintaining stable pressure levels inside the crankcase.

-
Basic Reroute Kit (No Catch Can) – The simplest option for off-road or race-use builds. Lightweight and easy to install, it vents crankcase gases without recirculating them into the intake system.
SPELAB’s modular approach gives Powerstroke owners the flexibility to upgrade based on how they use their truck—not a one-size-fits-all solution, but a system built around your specific needs.
What’s Included in a SPELAB CCV Delete Kit for 6.7 Powerstroke
Each 6.7 Powerstroke CCV delete kit from SPELAB comes with a carefully engineered set of components designed to ensure complete oil vapor isolation and stable crankcase pressure. The core of the system is a precision-machined billet CCV block-off plate, which replaces the factory vent port or filter assembly. Silicone or braided hoses reroute blow-by gases to a safer exit path, while optional catch cans with internal baffling trap oil mist before it contaminates your intake system. Kits also include clamps, mounting hardware, and detailed installation instructions, making them a bolt-on solution for those looking to clean up their engine bay and reduce long-term maintenance.

Legal Notice and Maintenance Tips for 6.7 Powerstroke CCV Delete Kits
Before installing a CCV delete kit on your 6.7 Powerstroke, it’s important to understand local emissions regulations. In many U.S. states, removing or bypassing emissions-related components—including the factory CCV system—is not legal for on-road use. These kits are typically intended for off-road, race, or competition vehicles only.
That said, proper use and maintenance of your 6.7 Powerstroke CCV reroute system can offer long-term benefits:
-
Check your catch can every 3,000–5,000 miles and drain if necessary
-
Ensure hoses and fittings remain secure, especially under boost
-
Clean or replace your breather filter periodically (for open systems)
-
No ECU tuning is required after installation, making setup simple for most trucks
Using a CCV delete 6.7 Powerstroke kit responsibly ensures your engine stays clean and efficient—especially when paired with other airflow upgrades like EGR or intake elbow deletes.

Awesome product I put the 3" cutouts on my 78 nova and they work great. Easy to install.
After installing the Spelab intake my EGT’s have lowered about 150/200 degrees from stock! I tow 90% of the time with this truck, I should have done this upgrade way earlier!
This kit came in a very nice box with all the necessary hardware to complete the installation without any modifications. Installation time was about two hours working methodically by myself with some occasional help from my 13 year old son as he passed through the garage. As many others have commented it would be nice to have some printed instructions with the kit, but it is not hard to figure out. I went with the red version because it was the cheapest, and I think it looks great. After installation, custom tuning with a mm3 tuner, and an upgraded exhaust the 6.7 is opened up and free to run.
Great components solid workmanship very happy with the product and looks really rood. I went with the red
I am a mechanic so it’s hard for me to say someone with absolutely no skills that this is easy. But watch YouTube I will say everyone is worried about the egr exhaust bolts. But one video he sprayed them and soak them. I had sprayed mine each time I drove the truck and every morning for 4 days. Than another video a guy said drive the truck get it hot than when you go to take them out hit the socket and extension with hammer to loosen them. So I also did this. They all came out with absolutely no problem. I did have to take off my intake cause I did the ccv and disaster kit as well. And these bolts did not get sprayed. And one did break! I was able to get it out with wd40 and pb blaster and tapping with hammer. To drop dpf I sprayed the hangers with pb blaster used a pry bar and they pop right off. Remember when taking that off you might miss a coupe connectors so take your time! Also the back of dpf I had two broken studs and one so rusted that I had to use a grinder. After got it out I had to take a drill to my existing manifold cause the rusted bolts closed up the holes. Currently I left my dpf tank in the truck. I plan on removing it but I don’t have a reason yes!
Make sure to read all instructions and again take your time. I’m currently having issues updating the mini max cause I didn’t do it before install. But spe hands down was amazing the products everything was perfect besides the intake. The mass air flow sensor didn’t fit and to clean the metal shavings I used brake clean and it melted there spray paint on that one product, everything else i believe is powder coated. I know it’s not part of this kit but the cp4 disaster kit make sure you tighten hose clamps I did not do this and it cam off so I had to take upper and lower intake off on the side of the road and lucky the truck didn’t burn down. But I would say that was my fault for not verifying!
Fits great! Easy install! All parts come with this as well didn’t need to go out and get anything. Not only that but the price man that’s damn good
Good fitment on all items. All block off plates fit good and dont leak. Downpipe fits perfectly. All gaskets included good quality.
I’m so happy with my egr delete kit and intake. I made the best decision in choosing Spelab to enhance my 2500 ram truck. I’ll keep buying more stuff from them. It’s starting to be an addiction!! Thanks Spelab!!
The exhaust and muffler fit great. Had to make one cut but that took no more than a couple minutes to measure and make the cut. I’m very pleased with the muffler included, sounds good but keeps the noise down and no drone in the cab. Will buy again.
Everything fit great. The finish is good and it includes everything you need to get rid of that POs Egr cooler
You know how it goes when you try to save a dollar, you cut cost of quality. But this is actually not the case so far. Finish is smooth, no bad cuts that i could see. Plate wasn’t warped with was a concern for me but no leaks this far. I’d buy again
Love the pipe however one band clamp was damaged upon arrival. I was able to bend it back to the correct form and use it. All hangers were in the correct location took about 30 mins for me to install by myself.
Intake came in nice and shiny looks like a great product also got the red intake plate and man oh man does it look sharp, overall I recommend Spelab products. Looks clean performs even better
Comes quickly in a little box. I work on my truck but am no mechanic. It took me 2 hours to remove and install the kit. Im very happy with the outcome. Im going to give it 5 starts but you do have to reuse the two gaskets on the EGR cooler. My advice is pick them up from the parts store so its all new. Total cost is $24 for both. They should be included but im still very happy.
Great product. Does everything it is supposed to do. I do wish it came with printed instructions. Following along with greasy fingers on my phone was problematic. Also, the hose fitting for the coolant line was a size too small. I had to purchase the correct size.
