Collection: Powerstroke Tuner Delete Kit
1. What Is a Powerstroke Tuner Delete and Why You Might Need One?
If you drive a Ford Super Duty equipped with a Powerstroke engine, you know it delivers solid power—but there’s always room to optimize. That’s where tuner delete kits come in.
A Powerstroke tuner delete kit is a combination of tuning hardware and software designed to recalibrate your diesel truck’s engine control unit (ECU) while removing specific emissions control components like the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter), EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation), and DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) systems.
SPELAB’s selection of tuner delete kits is designed specifically for diesel truck owners who want to improve performance, enhance fuel economy, and simplify their engine setup by removing emissions-related components. Whether you’re a weekend warrior towing heavy loads or a diesel enthusiast aiming for better throttle response, a delete kit paired with a tuner gives you the control and efficiency you're after.
We currently offer three powerful tuning options:
-
H&S Mini Maxx V1 Tuner – A proven favorite among diesel owners for its reliability and straightforward interface.
-
Mini Maxx V2 Tuner – The next-generation upgrade with a faster processor and expanded vehicle coverage.
-
Commander Tuner – The ultimate option for tuners who want customizable power levels, data monitoring, and a sleek touchscreen interface.
These tuners are compatible with a wide range of Ford Powerstroke models, from early 2000s builds to the latest Super Duty trucks. Paired with the right delete hardware, they deliver smoother shifting, reduced regen cycles, cooler engine temps, and a noticeable boost in driving confidence.
Stay tuned—we’ll break down how each product works, what kind of setup is best for your vehicle, and which combinations deliver the best results for your goals.

3. What Happens When You Delete and Tune a 6.7 Powerstroke?
Pairing a tuner with a full delete kit can completely transform the performance and efficiency of your Ford Super Duty. With a proper 6.7 Powerstroke tuner DPF delete setup, owners can expect real-world gains in power, reliability, and overall drivability.
3.1 What You Gain from a Full Delete + Tune Setup
When emissions systems like the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter), EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation), and DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) are removed—and the ECU is properly retuned—your truck no longer has to deal with excessive soot buildup, regen cycles, or restrictive airflow. Here’s what you typically get:
-
Horsepower Increase: Up to 100 HP gain depending on the tune and setup
-
Torque Boost: Up to 200 lb-ft for better towing and acceleration
-
Fuel Economy: Increases of 2–5 MPG under normal driving
-
Engine Longevity: Less soot and heat buildup means reduced wear on internals
-
Fewer Fault Codes: Say goodbye to check engine lights caused by clogged sensors or failed emissions components
This is exactly why so many truck owners go for a DPF delete tuner 6.7 Powerstroke system. The improvement is immediate—and lasting.
3.2 Pros and Cons of a Delete and Tune Kit
Pros
- Improved performance across the board
- Better throttle response and power delivery
- Reduced maintenance from deleted emissions parts
- Cooler EGTs (Exhaust Gas Temperatures)
Cons
- Not legal in all states or for on-road use
- Requires proper installation and tuning knowledge
- May void factory warranty
That said, with the right setup and responsible use, a delete and tune 6.7 Powerstroke can be one of the most valuable upgrades for diesel owners who prioritize performance and dependability.
4. Which 6.7 Powerstroke Delete Kit with Tuner Is Right for You?
Not every truck owner has the same goals. Whether you're daily driving, hauling, or building a high-performance rig, there's a 6.7 Powerstroke delete kit with tuner that fits your specific needs. Let’s break it down:
4.1 For the First-Time Modifier:
Best Setup: H&S Mini Maxx V1 + Basic DPF/EGR Delete Kit
If you drive an older model like a 2012 6.7 Powerstroke, and just want better reliability and cleaner performance, this is the go-to option. It’s easy to install, budget-friendly, and gets rid of the biggest headaches like regens and check engine lights.
4.2 For the Heavy-Duty Hauler:
Best Setup: Mini Maxx V2 + Full Delete kit (DPF, DEF, EGR)
Towing large loads with a 2019 F250 or similar? This combo delivers big power, improved throttle response, and cooler exhaust temps. The V2 also offers live data monitoring and shift optimization, perfect for keeping your engine healthy under pressure.
4.3 For the Power User or Off-Road Enthusiast:
Best Setup: Commander Tuner + Custom Tune + Full Delete
Running a tuned 6.7L Powerstroke off-road or competitively? You need the freedom to fine-tune turbo boost, injection timing, and air-fuel ratios. The Commander is the top-tier tool for those who want total control and customization.
4.4 For the Daily Driver Looking to Save on Fuel:
Best Setup: Mini Maxx V2 + Selective Delete (EGR/DPF Only)
If your goal is to reduce regen cycles, cut back on DEF refills, and improve MPG, a partial delete setup with smart tuning can give you real results—without pushing the truck beyond factory safety limits.
No matter your use case, SPELAB has the right delete tuner for 6.7 Powerstroke setups to match your driving style and goals.

FAQ
Will a delete kit work on my 2019 F250 6.7L Powerstroke?
Yes. SPELAB offers kits specifically designed for the 2019 F250 delete kit EZ Lynk configuration, as well as options compatible with the Mini Maxx V2 and Commander Tuner. Make sure you select the right tuner and hardware combo to match your engine year and emissions system.
Is tuning required if I delete the DPF or EGR?
Absolutely. Deleting any emissions components without proper tuning can cause major drivability issues and persistent check engine lights. That’s why every delete and tune 6.7 Powerstroke setup from SPELAB includes tuners calibrated to handle full or partial deletes.
Can I reinstall the stock components later?
In most cases, yes—especially if you backed up your stock ECU file using a tuner like the Commander or Mini Maxx. This allows you to restore your vehicle to factory settings if needed.
Will deleting affect fuel economy?
Yes, in a good way. Most owners report a 2–5 MPG increase after installing a full DPF delete tuner 6.7 Powerstroke kit. You’ll also experience more consistent throttle response and reduced regen downtime.
Is it legal to use a delete kit?
Laws vary by state. These kits are intended for off-road or competition use only in areas where emissions equipment removal is permitted. Always check local regulations before installing a 6.7 Powerstroke tuner DPF delete system.
How do I know which kit is best for my truck?
Our product listings clearly state compatibility (e.g. 2012 6.7 delete kit, 2008–2019 6.4L Powerstroke, etc.). You can also contact SPELAB support for one-on-one help choosing the right kit based on your truck’s year, engine, and usage goals.

As advertised works and looks great

Good stuff, love the kit. Installed it all myself under 6 hours. Now I need to find a way to keep the minimax from getting unplugged when I hit a bump

Easy to install, quality parts, and sound better than I expected. I would recommend these to others. Instructions are on line.

Intake horn is real nice, block off plate is real nice, gaskets are decent. I removed first 3 fuel lines and the cp3 line and had mine done in about 4hr by myself start to finish. 2012 Cummins. No cel, no issues. Took away a lot of the black smoking. Increased boost noticeably. Five stars.

Good fit, sounds awesome, definitely made a difference, hose clamps could be a little better, holes was off a little for the sensors, but for the price overall good product!

They have great customer service what I order was much better than what I was expecting to receive thank you for guys for everything

This was a very easy install, the parts seems to be good quality.

Great products, the updates and revisions to there parts show they care about making things better. 100% would buy all my parts from Spelab.

Directions were not good and there isn’t a heater bolt yet..but the product is great and you can’t beat the price. Happy with the product.

This is a good upgrade. I change the rear differential fluid frequently so now I will be able to drain and refill more easily. Easy install. No leaking. Hardware and gasket included. Very happy

I was impressed with the build quality. And very happy with the cover features: fill plug, drain plug, sight glass, nice paint, cooling fins and machined channels on the inside to direct fluid flow. I also put in some AMSOIL diff fluid. A winning combo. Love that gasket and premium hardware is included. A much better deal than the Banks cover. This cover will cool plenty abd direct fluids where it needs to go. I’m happy with my investment and highly recommend.

Fairly straight forward to install. My truck seems to be running and breathing a ton better.

Installed this billet version onto my 2019 Roush F150 recently. I wanted a cover that had the proper fluid flow vaning and fill and drain plugs to make future fluid changes easier, as I plan to renew the fluid every 30k miles. The sight glass so you can see the level and the condition of the fluid is also a great feature. I did quite a bit of research on which cover I wanted to install and saw the fluid flow issues with the square back covers, whereas this one has the proper curved design and vanes in it to direct the fluid that's coming over the top to the correct places of the differential for proper lubrication. I went with the billet one so that it's stronger than the lower priced cast version, as I keep my vehicles forever (20 years and 200k miles or more) and would rather do it right one time than have to do it again. The magnetic plugs to capture any ferrous gear wear is also a nice benefit. Installed with LubeLocker gasket.

Fit like crap. As did the down pipe. I got ppe ones and no refund from spelab

Fits very well and is really well constructed. Also looks really good installed in the truck!
