Powerstroke Tuner Delete Kit
Built for off-road Powerstroke owners matching delete tuners, tune packages, and setup needs for EGR, DPF, DEF, and SOTF-supported builds.
Powerstroke Delete Tuner Overview
A Powerstroke delete tuner helps match the truck’s ECU/ECM calibration to off-road emissions-related hardware changes. This collection includes tuner and tune package options for Ford Powerstroke diesel trucks, including Mini Maxx V1, Mini Maxx V2, and EZ LYNK-style tuning support where applicable.
The correct tuner should be selected by engine generation, model year, included hardware, tune file compatibility, SOTF needs, and whether the truck already has EGR, DPF, DEF, or CCV-related changes. Do not choose a tuner by product name alone.
Best For
- Ford Powerstroke owners comparing delete tuner options for off-road or competition builds.
- 6.0L, 6.4L, and 6.7L Powerstroke owners checking tuner compatibility by engine generation.
- Drivers matching EGR, DPF, DEF, or full delete hardware with the correct tune support.
- Owners who need SOTF, monitoring, recovery, or updated tune file support.
- Diesel shops and DIY installers preparing for ECU flashing, SD card setup, or device-based tuning.
Choose by Powerstroke Platform
Powerstroke tuning is not one-size-fits-all. A tuner that works for an earlier 6.0L or 6.4L truck may not be the right solution for a later 6.7L truck, and some setups require newer tune files, device support, or additional hardware.
| Powerstroke Platform | Typical Tuner Direction | What to Confirm |
|---|---|---|
| 6.0L Powerstroke | Earlier delete tuner support where compatible | Model year, supported files, EGR setup, and recovery process |
| 6.4L Powerstroke | Mini Maxx-style delete tuning support | DPF/EGR tune compatibility, SD card status, and battery voltage |
| 6.7L Powerstroke | Mini Maxx V2 or EZ LYNK-style tune package options | Exact year range, DEF/DPF/EGR support, SOTF needs, and file compatibility |
Tuner Only vs Full Delete Kit
A tuner changes the truck’s calibration, while a full delete kit may also include exhaust, EGR, DEF, CCV, or other hardware. Some products are tuner-only, while others are bundled with hardware. Always check the selected product option before ordering.
- Choose a tuner-only option if your truck already has the required hardware and only needs compatible tuning or tune file support.
- Choose a full kit option if you need both the tuner and matching EGR, DPF, DEF, or exhaust hardware.
- Choose EZ LYNK-style support if you prefer modern device-based tune management, remote updates, or platform-specific tune package control.
Key Tuner Options in This Collection
- Mini Maxx V1: Commonly used for earlier Powerstroke delete tuning setups where supported files and SD card setup match the truck.
- Mini Maxx V2: Supports broader delete tuning needs on selected Powerstroke applications and may be paired with full EGR/DPF/DEF kit options.
- EZ LYNK Tune Package: Supports selected Ford Powerstroke trucks with device-based tune management and platform-specific tune package options.

What to Check Before Tuning
- Confirm your exact Powerstroke engine, model year, and truck model.
- Check whether the product is tuner-only or includes EGR, DPF, DEF, CCV, or exhaust hardware.
- Confirm tune file compatibility before installing emissions-related hardware.
- Use a steady battery charger during flashing to reduce recovery-mode risk.
- Make sure SD cards, device firmware, cables, and selected vehicle files are correct before starting.
- Do not unplug the tuner, shut off power, or interrupt the flash while files are being written.
Setup and Recovery Notes
Tuning problems often come from low voltage, incorrect files, interrupted flashing, unsupported vehicle selection, or mismatched hardware. If a flash fails, use the same tuner and follow the product recovery steps before attempting another tune.
For Mini Maxx-style devices, keep the SD card formatted correctly and verify the files before use. For device-based tune packages, confirm that the truck, tune file, and support process match your exact Powerstroke platform.
Performance Expectations
A correctly matched Powerstroke delete tuner can support better calibration control, improved throttle response, proper hardware matching, and reduced emissions-related fault behavior on permitted off-road builds. Some owners also use tuners for monitoring, SOTF control, or staged power management.
Results vary by engine condition, tune quality, installed hardware, load, driving style, tire size, gearing, and supporting parts. A tuner will not fix unrelated injector, turbo, fuel delivery, wiring, sensor, compression, or mechanical issues.
Legal Notice
For U.S. and Canadian customers, emissions-delete tuning products are intended only for permitted off-road, racing, or competition use. They are not legal for emissions-controlled vehicles used on public roads.

Extremely Happy!!
much cheaper than big brand and seems good quality, thank you Spelab.
Price was great w heavy discounts. Great 5R110 6.0 powerstroke aluminum, Red, deep pan. W bolts and gasket. Great packing and instructions.
This kit came with everything I needed to get the job done. There's a great SPE lab video online for installation help. Every piece felt quality and was simple enough to put together. Had extra hose after running all the way to the back of my rig so there's plenty provided. I just ran mine to atmosphere so there's a popcorn sound at the back of my rig now but it doesn't smell terrible. Definitely recommend this upgrade for anyone who wants a healthy engine. As for how hard the installation is, if you can change the CCV box you can install this kit.
Installed this SPELAB thermal bypass valve alongside a deep pan upgrade and the setup works flawlessly. Trans fluid temps drop fast and stay right where they should be.
The overall fit was great and the build quality feels solid. I noticed a past review complaining about the O-rings being the wrong size—just wanted to clarify that those O-rings aren't for the bypass block itself; they are meant for the metal threaded filter adapter. Don't let that review throw you off. Solid 5 stars!
Surprisingly fast shipping and decent quality with half of big brands price... will come back!
fits well, would be better with instruction.
love this red! Customer support is also very helpful. Hope it will last.
Love it! Fits my 2017 F250.
The fitment was fantastic And it went together really well and fast
Great shipping. Great product. Was easy to install even though I had to cut some pipe off but overall happy with product
Solid intake manifold, no fitment issues.
Fit perfect and was of high quality material I have had the plate on my truck for about 2 weeks now and it is working great thanks SPELAB
The cold air intake was easy and fast to install. it looks great and boosted my truck up a little for performance without breaking the bank. it’s the best bang for your buck even if your truck is stock or built it’s worth the money
hard parts are amazing and everything went together great
Frequently Asked Questions
No. Once installed, the delete tune remains active even if the tuner is removed. However, it will default to “No Power” mode unless the tuner is reconnected to switch modes.
It occurs when the flash is interrupted or fails due to low voltage or unplugging mid-install. Reconnect the same tuner, return to stock, and reinstall the delete tune. If the truck won’t start, dealer or tuner-based reflash may be needed.

VIN auto-detection, cold-start fuel optimization, smart idle controls, high-altitude turbo adjustments, and real-time ECM monitoring. Designed for 2020–2022 6.7L Powerstroke models.
- #399/#327 = SD card not recognized or unstable voltage during flash
- C747 = ECM is locked or the vehicle is not supported (common in 4500/5500 chassis models)
- Fix: Reformat SD to FAT32, confirm correct platform, and use a steady 10A+ charger
Not if done correctly. Disconnect all DEF-related sensors and use updated tunes. Some early 6.7L Powerstroke ECUs may require newer firmware files to suppress emissions-related DTCs.
