Love spelab products diff cover is so mint the charge air cooler pipes look sick and the rad shroud pops when you open the hood Looking at other products but seem to be unavailable at the moment 🤘
These guys are great. They have fast shipping and their product is great. I wish they had more parts for my truck but they cant make them all i suppose. They added quite a bit of HP to my build. It turned out great
Best investment i bought and proud to have from SPELAB
Instructions were great, could
Be more detailed but overall great product, install wasn’t bad at all, unfortunately snapped oil dipstick tube following instructions but other than that I would say the plugs in the intake could’ve been put in prior rather than leaving room for install error
Very nice
Good products great pricing
Works great, find out how to wire it on YouTube if you aren’t sure, super easy though only two wires
this 2017 3500 Ram with now 111274 miles was used by PO to pull 5th wheel and now it pulls a 30 ft airstream TT.. I change out fluid at 96K with OEM cover and started looking for replacement.. this is great with magnetic drain plugs which is a great help as we change out oil every 35K miles as we tow a lot..
This new alum cover with fins is much like the AAM unit used on teh HO engines from factory with not quite the amount of and placement of fins but in the end this accomplished the goal of keeping the fluid cooler especially when towing.
One thing i did notice was the no actual instruction on what was proper level of oil in sight glass.. Usually on OEM cover you fill till the oil dribbles out the fill plug on cover and that if good..
on this model I noticed the sight glass was lower than the OEM plug determining the level need to be not the middle of the sight glass but at the TOP of the sight glass.. just saying.. the inside has fluid diversion fins so help move the oil to ponion gear and the side bearing on housing..
The fit and finish are great and it looks super cool now in the alum color.. I though about spray painting and sanding the edge of the fins to have that nice contrast but left it silver.
highly recommend and the price is right..
Order came in a few days earlier than the expected delivery day pretty easy install it makes the engine may look a lot better
I purchased a pair of Spelab Electric Cutouts for my BMW. Everything in the kit was shipped quickly, was perfectly packaged and the quality of their product is top notch. I installed the cutouts and I couldn't happier with the way they work. I was even able to pair the remote to the Homelink buttons to open and close the valves.
Hoping to gain a sponsorship soon I use yalls parts on my personal build and customers builds
Very good quality kit and was easy to install!! I highly recommend it!!
Excellent quality product that definitely delivers a difference in throttle response. You can tell that the engine is breathing much better. I highly recommend this to everyone out there. Shipping was fast too!! And to top it off, the dreaded engine killing grid heater plate is gone for good! Look how bad the grid heater was after only 46,000 mi. You can barely see thru the grids. Ridiculous design by Cummins/Ram. They should be ashamed for putting that piece of junk on such a good engine. Next up, turbo tubes!
Fit my 08 6.4 extended cab just fine. Sounds great with a 5x7 tip
I have always used there products and customers always are happy

Factory up-pipes use thin-wall stainless tubing with factory bellows that crack under repeated thermal cycling and high EGTs. On the 6.4L (2008–2010), the EBPV (Exhaust Backpressure Valve) inside the up-pipe is a common failure point—sticking open causes excessive EGT spikes and black smoke during regen. On the 7.3L (1999.5–2003), a failed up-pipe causes exhaust gas leaks near the turbo inlet and check engine lights.
Bellowed up-pipes include flexible corrugated sections that absorb engine movement and thermal expansion. Factory up-pipes are bellowed but use thin metal that fails quickly. SPELAB's bellowed upgrade kit ($109.99, rated 4.67 from 12 reviews) uses thicker stainless bellows that last the life of the truck. Non-bellowed pipes are sometimes used in racing applications where every bit of flow matters—they crack faster on street trucks due to engine vibration stress.
The EGR delete and up-pipe upgrade are separate jobs but often done together since they share similar access points. The 6.4L up-pipe upgrade ($129.00, rated 4.95 from 20 reviews) can be installed without touching the EGR system. However, SPELAB's All-in-One Kit ($88.99, rated 5.0 from 6 reviews) that covers EGR + DPF + DEF + up-pipe is the most complete solution for 2008–2010 6.4L owners planning a full delete build.
The 6.7L Powerstroke (2015–2019) uses a single large up-pipe feeding both turbos from the exhaust manifold, unlike the older VFT (Variable Geometry Turbo) setup. This design is more durable than the 6.4L's up-pipes but still benefits from a stainless upgrade under heavy loads. SPELAB's 6.7L up-pipe ($199.99, rated 5.0 from 1 review) is a direct replacement for the factory unit—recommended if you're already doing a delete tune and pushing higher boost levels.
On the 6.4L and 7.3L Powerstroke, the up-pipe can be replaced without removing the turbo—but it's a tight fit. The turbo inlet must be loosened and moved aside slightly. On the 6.0L, you'll need to remove the turbo to access the up-pipe studs properly. Budget 3–5 hours for the job on a lifted truck, and use new exhaust gasket material at all joints. Anti-seize on all bolts is mandatory to prevent seized hardware on these trucks.
