Unleash the True Power of Your Powerstroke – Start with the Intake System
Whether you’re driving a 2011–2019 Ford F-250 with a 6.7L Powerstroke diesel engine or a classic 1999–2003 Ford F-350 with a 7.3L Powerstroke, upgrading to an efficient Powerstroke Air Intake Kit is a crucial step toward better performance and throttle response.
While stock intake systems are built for general reliability, they often struggle to deliver adequate cold air under demanding conditions like towing, off-roading, or long-haul driving.
SPELAB offers a tailored range of intake solutions based on vehicle year, engine size, and real-world use cases—including Cold Air Intake Kits, Heat Shield Intake Kits, and both hot and cold side Intercooler Pipes. Designed for precision fitment and easy DIY installation.
Now is the time to let your Powerstroke diesel engine breathe better—and finally deliver the horsepower and torque it’s truly capable of.
Multiple Powerstroke Air Intake Kit Options for Every Performance Goal
SPELAB offers a variety of Powerstroke Air Intake Kit options tailored to specific driving demands and performance goals. Whether you’re towing heavy loads or chasing quicker turbo response, there’s a solution built to match your Ford Powerstroke truck precisely.
- Ideal for models like the 2003–2007 Ford F-250 6.0L Powerstroke, this system pulls in cooler, denser air to reduce intake temperature, enhance combustion efficiency, and improve MPG.

-
Highly recommended for 2011–2019 Ford F-250/F-350 6.7L Powerstroke engines, the cold side pipe improves airflow efficiency and reduces turbo lag.
-
Built for heavy-duty performance, the hot side pipe handles high pressure and temperatures—perfect for extreme towing or tuned setups.
-
Ideal for full airflow upgrades, the complete Intercooler Pipe Kit eliminates factory flow restrictions—best when paired with a Cold Air Intake Kit for optimal performance.
Engineered to Fit Every Ford Powerstroke Diesel Configuration
Before upgrading your intake system, it’s critical to confirm compatibility with your truck’s model year and engine specs. SPELAB’s full line of Powerstroke Air Intake Kit products is engineered specifically for every generation of the Powerstroke platform—from the legendary 7.3L to the high-output 6.7L—ensuring OE-level fit and real-world performance gains.
Model | Year Range | Engine | Recommended Intake Components |
---|---|---|---|

Looking for stronger towing performance? Upgrading to cold and hot side Intercooler pipes on 6.0L and 6.7L engines will drastically reduce turbo lag. Running an old-school 7.3L? Our cold air intakes enhance airflow without compromising the engine’s bulletproof reliability.
Real-World Power Gains: Turn Every Drop of Diesel into Measurable Performance
Many owners of the 2011–2019 Ford F-250/F-350 6.7L Powerstroke report noticeably faster throttle response after upgrading from stock. In third-party dyno tests, SPELAB’s Cold Air Intake Kit combined with upgraded Intercooler Pipes delivered up to +10 horsepower and 6% more torque. Intake air temperature also dropped by an average of 10–15°F under highway driving—greatly benefiting turbo longevity and overall engine health.
For older models like the 2003–2007 Ford F-250 6.0L Powerstroke, the stock hot-side pipe is known as a weak point. SPELAB’s reinforced hot-side pipe paired with our cold air intake improves boost efficiency and virtually eliminates turbo lag. These upgrades are ideal for tuned trucks, aftermarket turbo installs, or anyone regularly towing heavy loads.
You might not see horsepower numbers flashing on your dashboard—but you’ll definitely feel smoother acceleration, more consistent torque, and more confident uphill performance when towing or hauling. These gains aren’t just numbers—they’re noticeable changes in your daily drive.
Built to Last – Quality Materials, Proven Craftsmanship
For models like the 2008–2010 Ford F-350 6.4L Powerstroke and 1999–2003 F-250 7.3L Powerstroke, durability under heat and pressure is a major concern. Every Powerstroke Air Intake Kit from SPELAB is built with premium materials and tested craftsmanship to not just enhance performance—but ensure long-term reliability and resilience.
We use aerospace-grade aluminum for our intake pipes—lightweight yet extremely corrosion-resistant. The exterior is treated with either a black powder coat or durable heat-resistant paint. For Intercooler Pipes, reinforced stainless steel with precision welds ensures high airflow efficiency and crack resistance, even under extreme boost.
Our Heat Shield kits use cold-rolled steel plates finished with heat-insulated coating to keep under-hood temperatures out of your intake stream. This is critical for maintaining cool airflow—and it’s one reason 6.7L Powerstroke off-roaders and tuners trust SPELAB in the harshest environments.
From materials to welds, every detail in a SPELAB Powerstroke intake component is engineered with professional-grade intent—because you deserve an intake system you can trust.
Hassle-Free DIY Installation with Full SPELAB Support
For many 2003–2007 Ford F-250 6.0L Powerstroke or 2011–2019 Ford F-350 6.7L Powerstroke owners, the top concern when choosing an intake system is: “Is it hard to install?” SPELAB’s Powerstroke Air Intake Kits are designed with a plug-and-play philosophy—no cutting, no welding, just direct-fit connections. With detailed instructions and step-by-step video guides, even first-time DIYers can install with confidence.
Our instructions are model-specific, with diagrams that clearly illustrate pipe alignment, sensor relocation, bracket mounting, and heat shield placement. For unique setups like the Ford F-450 6.4L Powerstroke, we include custom fitment notes to make the process even smoother.

All parts arrived promptly and packed well. Installation was smooth and trouble free except for the tube style heater which would not thread into the new intake elbow. The provided plug threaded in fine so will have to revisit that issue before winter.

Overall I was very impressed. Pricing was great, everything I needed was provided. Quality of the parts was good. I would definitely recommend this package when compared to others.

Great products! Works perfectly!
Thank you so much!!

No written instructions came with the kit, no big deal. You will definately need the IAT extension wiring harness, which we wasnt told we needed. I ended up making my own extension but if you don't the truck will not start. Also the intake horn doesn't fit straight onto the inlet tube so if it looks crooked just make sure the clamp is tightened.

Packaging was good, install was simple, and it sounds great. What more could you ask for?

Kit went on fantastic, all hangers lined up. Freed up power and MPG. I installed the SPELAB muffler too, good combo, good sound. It drones under load and at about 70 but not unbearable. Super happy.

Have purchased a few different things , all worked at advertised! Will be making future purchases.

Great finish, not a terrible install, just time consuming. Just take your time it, we’ll worth it!

I took my F 150 to a local mechanic to get the differential cover and gasket removed, the fluid drained and then everything put back together. I didn't want to bother. My mistake. I got the truck back, put a piece of cardboard under the rear differential and determined that it was leaking slowly. I went back to the mechanic, they supposedly fixed it, but the cardboard check failed again. I went back to the mechanic and they told me it was the pinion seal bearing that was leaking. This problem never existed until I had taken the truck to them. I got the truck back in the pinion seal was no longer leaking but I still had a slow leak from the gasket around the differential cover. $400 later in three trips back to the mechanic I gave up, bought the SPELAB cast aluminum cover and the lube locker gasket plus the necessary fluid and did it myself. No leaks since then. I particularly like the little sight glass since I was able to get the fluid exactly to the halfway mark within the sight glass. I should never have gone to the local mechanic in the first place.

Very well made with quality materials and hardware! You will not be disappointed.

SPE ccv reroute is the best bang for your buck and works very well. Easy install and looks great when installed.

This 5” downpipe back kit fit absolutely perfect. Could not ask for a better fit and finish of this kit. All the hangers are in the correct location and the clamps supplied are of quality!

Installation was a breeze!

I bought this kit for my 2019 Ford F350, the same kit I bought for my 2014 F250 almost 5 years ago. The first kit I had significantly boosted my power to pull my 5th wheel up I-17.
While I haven’t pulled anything big yet with my F350 I can already feel the difference in power and performance.
VERY happy with my purchase and…no more DEF (garbage!).

Great replacement cover! Looks great and was easy to install and makes it much easier and cleaner to change my differential gear oil!
