For 2000-2006 BMW M54 Engine | E46 320i/325i/330i Z3 Z4 Exhaust Header

Stainless Steel Sport Exhaust Headers for BMW 323i /328i , and manual or automatic transmissions. Models with air pumps may require modifications. These high performance headers were developed in Germany and are manufactured out of heavy gauge T304 stainless steel for long life. They are intended for track and off road use only unless you weld in catalytic converters. Kit comes complete with gaskets. Left Hand Drive models only. Not for xi four wheel drive models.

Exhaust Header VS Manifold, which is the better choice?

The structural differences between exhaust headers and manifolds are the material and size. From the material, exhaust headers are made of lighter, thinner steel, while exhaust manifolds are made of thick iron. Exhaust headers are also longer than exhaust manifolds. When in use, exhaust manifolds create back pressure, which lowers performance. Because each cylinder of the engine is given its own tube, however, headers eliminate this problem; thus, allowing the gases to exit without the creation of back pressure. Therefore, exhaust headers are a BETTER choice than an exhaust manifold.

Tight fit but working good

I closed off the secondary O2 ports and I had to grind down one so it would fit with the cap on since it was too long. I have an 2001 e46 wagon with a M54b30 swap and the bank 1 lightly touched the motor mount and the O2 sensor on the other bank touched the header. I think with enough vibration over the years this will be a problem but for now it's been running great. I disabled the rear o2 sensors in the ECU using the Ms43.net software and the engine is running better than ever thanks to no exhaust leaks and new o2 sensors which I would recommend if you're going through all the effort to swap headers. Do yourself a favor and take off the lower aluminum brace to give yourself more room.

Overall they seem to be good welds look ok for a cheap header definitely recommend if you're on a budget

Good for the price

I bought these for my 2005 325ci. Fitment was almost 100% correct but the header for cylinders 1-3 was about 1/4 inch short. I would still recommend these headers for anyone on a budget.

Looks and sounds amazing, needs a slight modification

These brought life to the way my car sounds! You will need to modify for fitment, there is no way around it. I had to cut the 02 sensors threads down by a lot on both parts of the headers , they were way to long and wouldn’t fit, tips for installation you will need to remove the shield on the engine bushing arm, I suggest getting a different style gasket and new hardware

E46 330 catless headers

Everything went pretty smooth most is great. But the longer one of the headers (the front 3) have little to no clearance of the motor mount arm and was very difficult to get in

Spelab exhaust headers for 330ci

The product is great, just was a slight bit off on the downpipe connection but nothing major. Easy install aside from that slight fitment issue, would definitely buy again!

BMW M54 Header

Good quality welds and almost perfect fitment. My only complaint was I had to modify the location for the downstream 02 sensors as the bungs for them were right in the firewall. Otherwise a well designed product.

Installed on a 14 3500, seamless install maybe takes 10min. Definitely opens intake up. Noticeably more sound. Not sure any performance gains other than throttle response

I’ve purchased the EGR and CCV deletes as well as the upgraded intake manifold, upper radiator hose and thermostat block, and compressed air piping. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality and fit of all of the parts. Some of the instructions could use a little more detail, but if you are in any way mechanically inclined, you’ll be able to do these yourself no problem. I did have to make a very small modification to the aluminum quick connector on the upper radiator hose in order to get it to lock in place, but other than that everything has been great!

Best DPF back I've ever had

I really do think this is the best DPF back I've ever had. I said it in the video, but the fitment here is MUCH better than MBRP or AFE. I have had both and this one installed so much easier, and much higher quality metal
