Description Fitment Shipping & Returns

SPELAB 4''/ 5'' turbo back replaces the entire exhaust system from the turbocharger outlet all the way to the tailpipe. Every component is optimized for maximum flow - including a performance downpipe, mid-pipe with optional resonators, and an aggressive-sounding muffler or straight-through tail section. This end-to-end system delivers the ultimate in power gains, throttle response for your Dodge Ram 6.7L Diesel, and that deep, authoritative exhaust note true enthusiasts crave.

Specification

Exhaust Material T-409 Stainless Steel, it is magnetic.
Thickness 2mm thick for long-lasting durability and heat resistance.
Inlet Diameter  4.0"/5.0"
mandrel-bent construction Maximum flow efficiency, helping your diesel breathe easier

Benefits

Expect to see a significant increase in fuel mileage. If your DPF is plugged up your probably averaging about 13-14 mpg. More or less depending on the severity of the restriction. After deleting the DPF/CAT expect to get a combined mileage of 18-19 mpg.

  • It removes the need to service the DPF at regular intervals (cleaning, replacement)
  • A DPF delete will remove the possibility of a DPF failure which could cause expensive diesel repairs
  • Due to less exhaust backpressure, the DPF delete increases exhaust flow and therefore increases the performance of your motor!
  • Paired with an ECU remap, the DPF delete is proven to increase power and torque for all vehicles

Installation

Install takes about 1hr with basic hand tools done on the ground of your driveway or garage. Quicker if you have automotive style lift. Cutting may be be required to fit shorter wheelbase bed/cab configurations. Clamps, hangers and hardware are included. You may have to re-use some factory hardware.
Tuner Required: Removal of the DPF, CAT, SCR, and/or DOC involves removing and eliminating emission related sensors. A DPF delete capable tuner is required to prevent any check engine light or diagnostic trouble codes from setting.

4" vs. 5" Turbo-Back Exhaust: Choosing Your Ideal System

Feature / Diameter
4-inch Turbo-Back Exhaust
5-inch Turbo-Back Exhaust
Target User
Daily drivers, frequent tow-ers, mild to moderate tunes (up to ~500-600 HP), seeking balanced performance and sound.
High-performance builds, extreme tunes (600+ HP), drag racing, or those desiring the loudest, deepest exhaust note.
Performance
Excellent flow for most applications, maintains optimal exhaust gas velocity for strong low-end torque. Significant EGT reduction.
Maximum flow for ultimate top-end power and lowest EGTs. May slightly reduce low-end torque due to decreased exhaust gas velocity.
Sound Profile
Deep, aggressive, and commanding. Less cabin drone, more refined for daily use.
Extremely deep and loud. More pronounced cabin drone, often preferred for off-road or competition use.
Fitment
Generally easier to install with ample clearance. Less likely to interfere with spare tires or airbags.
Larger diameter can lead to tighter clearances, potentially requiring minor modifications or adjustments around spare tires or airbags.
Cost
Typically more cost-effective.
Generally higher cost due to increased material and manufacturing complexity.
