Quality product and loaded kit

This kit came with everything I needed to get the job done. There's a great SPE lab video online for installation help. Every piece felt quality and was simple enough to put together. Had extra hose after running all the way to the back of my rig so there's plenty provided. I just ran mine to atmosphere so there's a popcorn sound at the back of my rig now but it doesn't smell terrible. Definitely recommend this upgrade for anyone who wants a healthy engine. As for how hard the installation is, if you can change the CCV box you can install this kit.

Works perfectly - Note on the O-rings!

Installed this SPELAB thermal bypass valve alongside a deep pan upgrade and the setup works flawlessly. Trans fluid temps drop fast and stay right where they should be.

The overall fit was great and the build quality feels solid. I noticed a past review complaining about the O-rings being the wrong size—just wanted to clarify that those O-rings aren't for the bypass block itself; they are meant for the metal threaded filter adapter. Don't let that review throw you off. Solid 5 stars!

The 2003–2007 6.0L Powerstroke is notorious for cracking the plastic factory coolant reservoir tank—often without warning. Symptoms include coolant smell, low coolant light, and white sweet-smelling residue under the hood. SPELAB's aluminum coolant reservoir ($149) replaces the weak factory tank with a durable, heat-resistant housing. Check the reservoir level weekly on 6.0L trucks—this failure can strand you fast.

Yes. The 2011–2016 6.7L Powerstroke coolant filtration system ($149, 25% off) extends the life of your coolant and protects the EGR cooler from scale buildup. Diesel coolant deteriorates over time—worn-out coolant causes corrosion and clogging in the small EGR cooler passages, a leading cause of the P0401 code and coolant loss. A $149 filter replacement every 2 years is far cheaper than a new EGR cooler.

A standard Coolant Hose Kit replaces cracked or soft factory hoses with reinforced silicone. A Coolant Reroute Kit goes further—on the 2011–2024 6.7L Powerstroke, it re-routes the EGR coolant flow path to reduce thermal stress on weak factory connections. The reroute kit ($135) prevents the most common failure: coolant leaking from the EGR valve housing into the intake manifold, causing white smoke and P0401 codes.
