What Are The Benefits of EGR Delete?
An EGR delete can bring about several benefits. These include:
Improved Fuel Economy and Engine Longevity
An EGR delete helps you restore your diesel engine’s power levels which, in turn, also restores your overall fuel efficiency. Since an EGR delete kit sends the exhaust gas away from your car’s engine, it starts to run cleaner, too. Not only does it make the process increasingly efficient, but it also reduces the chances of DPF (diesel particulate filter) failure. So, overall, with this aftermarket kit, you can see an increase of up to 20% in your fuel economy. Along with that, the EGR delete kit can also improve your engine’s longevity.
Reduced Engine Temperature
EGR valves naturally contain a high content of soot. When the EGR system’s valve or coolers get clogged with soot, the exhaust gases start to circulate more around the system, resulting in a blockage. As a result, the temperatures around the engine rise and you experience a reduction in the engine’s power. However, when you bypass this, lower exhaust gas is produced. In turn, during operation, your vehicle experiences a reduced engine coolant temperature.

Very well put together kit. Fit and finish was exactly what I was looking for
The kit was nice with just a few flaws. It was missing one of the EGR block off plate bolts and the bracket for cooling pipes could be better. Otherwise it has worked perfectly

The kit came with everything I needed to get it installed. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the fact the instructions where not very clear. I had to look up a couple videos to understand where and how everything went. Otherwise it is a great kit and does exactly what its suppose to do. Been running it for about a month now and I don't have any issues with the coolant leaking as of now. I know this is an issue with some kits. But I believe the extra set screws that hold it are what's doing the trick. I would defiantly recommend this kit to any one wanting to do a EGR delete. Just make sure you do some research on how to install since instructions aren't the best.

I was skeptical about the pipes but they fit. Pain the a$$ to install on hot side I wish they had a install video but I just used the banks install video
Clamps seem short but they fit, put Vaseline on tubes to maneuver them easier when mounting them to the boot
These up pipes fit perfectly, no trouble at all and look awesome. I made a bracket to help support the EBP tube.
The craftsman in the parts are perfect and fit perfectly would recommend this kit 10/10 and they have excellent customer service 10/10

Very happy with this product. Showed up quick and seems very well made. Fixed my annoying intermittent coolant drip and now I have the peace of mind that the fitting is secured instead of just being held in by the oring tension. Had to cut one of the small holes off of the little piece with one big and two small holes in it to clear a bracket but still very impressed. About 5k miles on it since I stalled and everything it holding up well.
Since this kit was cheaper than most I was concerned about fitment and functionality but it fit well and included everything you’d need except the bolts to secure the up pipe to the manifold and turbo. Chevy has an updated part so just order 6 of those with this kit and you’re golden (they were in stock at my local Chevy dealer). Despite other reviews saying the bracket on the intake pipe doesn’t line up at all, I found it lines up pretty well, I used a small pry bar and started the bolts by hand and it went in easily after that.
I’m not a huge fan of using a cigarette lighter for power for it, I would prefer a hardwire option. However, this functions just as advertised and I am loving it!
