Protects the differential, seals the differential, stores differential fluid.
Innovative points:
1. The external heat sink design increases the contact area between the differential cover and the surrounding air, enhancing heat dissipation performance.
2. The internal diversion groove design aligns with the direction of liquid flow in the differential gear's rotation, ensuring maximum flow rate for better lubrication.
3. The use of aluminum alloy material significantly improves cooling performance compared to the commonly used iron material. When comparing billet to cast products, billet items are often considered more durable and built for long-lasting performance.
4. An external observation mirror with a floating ball is used to monitor the oil level. Traditional observation mirrors in the market may darken over time, reducing visibility. Therefore, the floating ball allows us to monitor the oil level even if the mirror darkens.
5. The outside with black wrinkle paint providing rust resistance.

FAQs
Q1: What is a differential cover?
A1: A differential cover is a protective casing for the differential assembly of a vehicle, designed to shield it from external damage and help manage heat dissipation.
Q2: Why should I upgrade to an aftermarket differential cover?
A2: Upgrading to an aftermarket differential cover enhances cooling, reduces wear and tear, and often provides better durability and performance compared to stock covers.
Q3: How does a differential cover improve cooling?
A3: Differential covers with cooling fins and increased surface area improve heat dissipation, keeping the differential fluid cooler, which extends the lifespan of the differential components.
Q4: Are differential covers easy to install?
A4: Yes, most aftermarket differential covers are designed for easy installation, typically requiring basic tools and minimal mechanical knowledge.
Q5: What materials are commonly used for differential covers?
A5: Differential covers are commonly made from aluminum or steel, with aluminum being popular for its superior heat dissipation and lightweight properties.
Q6: How do I know if a differential cover is compatible with my vehicle?
A6: Check the product specifications for compatibility with your vehicle's make, model, and differential type. Many manufacturers provide detailed fitment guides.
Q7: Can a differential cover improve my vehicle’s performance?
A7: Yes, by maintaining optimal differential temperatures and reducing fluid breakdown, a good differential cover can improve overall vehicle performance and efficiency.
Q8: What is the purpose of a magnetic drain plug in a differential cover?
A8: A magnetic drain plug helps capture and remove metal debris from the differential fluid, reducing wear on internal components.
Q9: How often should I check or change the differential fluid?
A9: It’s recommended to check the differential fluid level and condition during regular maintenance intervals, and change it as per your vehicle’s service manual or if the fluid appears contaminated.
Q10: Do differential covers require special maintenance?
A10: Differential covers generally require minimal maintenance, but it's important to periodically check for leaks, ensure bolts are tight, and inspect the condition of the fluid and magnetic drain plug.
I took my F 150 to a local mechanic to get the differential cover and gasket removed, the fluid drained and then everything put back together. I didn't want to bother. My mistake. I got the truck back, put a piece of cardboard under the rear differential and determined that it was leaking slowly. I went back to the mechanic, they supposedly fixed it, but the cardboard check failed again. I went back to the mechanic and they told me it was the pinion seal bearing that was leaking. This problem never existed until I had taken the truck to them. I got the truck back in the pinion seal was no longer leaking but I still had a slow leak from the gasket around the differential cover. $400 later in three trips back to the mechanic I gave up, bought the SPELAB cast aluminum cover and the lube locker gasket plus the necessary fluid and did it myself. No leaks since then. I particularly like the little sight glass since I was able to get the fluid exactly to the halfway mark within the sight glass. I should never have gone to the local mechanic in the first place.

5” downpipe back kit is a perfect fit!
This 5” downpipe back kit fit absolutely perfect. Could not ask for a better fit and finish of this kit. All the hangers are in the correct location and the clamps supplied are of quality!
I bought this kit for my 2019 Ford F350, the same kit I bought for my 2014 F250 almost 5 years ago. The first kit I had significantly boosted my power to pull my 5th wheel up I-17.
While I haven’t pulled anything big yet with my F350 I can already feel the difference in power and performance.
VERY happy with my purchase and…no more DEF (garbage!).
Intake horn is real nice, block off plate is real nice, gaskets are decent. I removed first 3 fuel lines and the cp3 line and had mine done in about 4hr by myself start to finish. 2012 Cummins. No cel, no issues. Took away a lot of the black smoking. Increased boost noticeably. Five stars.

Cold Air
Good fit, sounds awesome, definitely made a difference, hose clamps could be a little better, holes was off a little for the sensors, but for the price overall good product!
