Benefits

Expect to see a significant increase in fuel mileage. If your DPF is plugged up your probably averaging about 13-14 mpg. More or less depending on the severity of the restriction. After deleting the DPF/CAT expect to get a combined mileage of 18-19 mpg.

  • It removes the need to service the DPF at regular intervals (cleaning, replacement)
  • A DPF delete will remove the possibility of a DPF failure which could cause expensive diesel repairs
  • Due to less exhaust backpressure, the DPF delete increases exhaust flow and therefore increases the performance of your motor!
  • Paired with an ECU remap, the DPF delete is proven to increase power and torque for all vehicles

Installation

Install takes about 1hr with basic hand tools done on the ground of your driveway or garage. Quicker if you have automotive style lift. Cutting may be be required to fit shorter wheelbase bed/cab configurations. Clamps, hangers and hardware are included. You may have to re-use some factory hardware.
Tuner Required: Removal of the DPF, CAT, SCR, and/or DOC involves removing and eliminating emission related sensors. A DPF delete capable tuner is required to prevent any check engine light or diagnostic trouble codes from setting.

Great exhaust system

Let's start with quick delivery, my box came all beat up. I think FedEx beat the box up because there must have been 6 rolls of tape on the box. All the contents of the box were in good condition. On the install, hardest part was the down pipe. Had to remove the bracket on the transmission, after that install was a breeze, had to cut one pipe. I will say 2 of hangers on the long pipe I did not use. Great exhaust system for the price. The exhaust tip is great , not to big. Highly recommend this system, sounds great.

5 inch exhaust on a 3rd gen 5.9 cummins

This exhaust is great for the money, for a long bed quad cab truck it doesnt drone on the highway. This is with the exhaust tip installed that changed the sound a bit. However with the truck straight piped now it is loud outside when you lay on it with a trailer in tow. Only thing I might change on this kit is the welded on hangers did not line up with my factory hangers. I ended up removing and rewelding to get the hangers to line up where I needed them to.

Exhaust sounds great, install was pretty straight forward after some trimming of the piping and adjustment of the clamps. Pretty stoked overall.

Pretty decent

It all fit pretty good. I think any exhaust set you will have to do a little extra pipe fitting. Over all happy with the quality and fit just took more work than expected.

the install was super easy, only about an hour. but when you get the the end of it for the elbow, and your on stock lift height; your gonna have to remove the spare tire.

Quick easy install, perfect fit. The only difficult part was installing the downpipe. If you unbolt the trans mount and jack it up, the down pipe slides right in.

Pipe didn’t match at the turbo and had to cut all the hangers to make fit. Lots of modifications. Sounds good when finished.

Great product

The kit I received was very easy to install. It sounds incredible the deeper tone is definitely my favorite part over the raspy stock 4". Despite what most reviews I read have complained about bad drone on the highway I've yet to experience any drone at any speed. Overall I'm very happy with this exhaust as a whole, the price was very great, the install was very simple and quick (45 minutes with a buddy and beers), the sound and performance are fantastic. I highly recommend this exhaust for anyone with a Cummins modified or not.

True 5" turbo back exhaust unlike competitors

Took under an hour to install 1 cut to fit my 4 door short box truck hands down best system I have ever installed for the money, hanger location and turbo flange were a perfect fit as well, good tone not too loud in my opinion

Takes some modification to make work, buts its good quality. If your willing to put in a little work, it sure is cheaper than name brands.

Would be easier to install if all the hangers were bolt on, so you can have a little more angels to trun the down pipe other then that great exhaust!!

Great exhaust system!!

Excellent exhaust system and experience with Spelab! Flare on turbo down pipe needed trimmed to fit inside origional clamp but besides that the install went very smoothly. Highly recommend this part and company!!!

I know the description says 03 but aren't they very similar from the turbo outward?

Hangers are welded in the wrong spot
Flange is way to large on down pipe
Had to cut and reweld smaller flange to fit on turbo
Had to cut all but one hanger bracket and relocate and weld
Priced well
Piping is bent perfectly cleared frame with ease
Overall happy

This one isn't bolted on, it's flanged to connect it to the turbocharger.
