I would have liked instructions with the tune but it was user friendly. I wish it had a switch to change on the fly. All be looking to see if I can add it on.

Delete kit for the 16 lml

I think the delete kit was awesome but definitely should come with a new Gasket for your up pipe because you always have to get one anyways to fix the exhaust leak where the block off plate goes.

If you are looking to delete your Duramax and you have your 3 bolt off to the muffler do you need to buy a new down pipe or can you just attach the straight pipe to the old down pipe

Does the tuner do all tuning or do the computer still require tuning

Tuners typically work by modifying the settings in a vehicle's Engine Control Unit (ECU) or Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to adjust parameters like fuel-to-air ratio, ignition timing, throttle response, and more. These modifications are made through the tuner device, which communicates with the vehicle's computer.

The tuner effectively handles the tuning process by altering the parameters stored in the ECU/PCM. However, the tuner itself doesn't physically replace the need for an ECU/PCM; rather, it interacts with and modifies the existing computer system in the vehicle.

In some cases, especially with complex modifications or specific adjustments, professional tuners or mechanics might manually modify certain parameters directly within the ECU/PCM using specialized software or tools in addition to or instead of using a handheld tuner device.

So, while the tuner manages the tuning process and modifies the settings within the ECU/PCM, the vehicle's computer system remains integral to the process.
