EGR Delete Kits

SPELAB EGR Delete Kits

Deleting a diesel typically refers to the removal of one or more emissions control systems from a diesel engine. Diesel engines are equipped with various emissions control systems to help reduce the amount of pollutants that are released into the atmosphere.

There are different types of emissions control systems that can be deleted, including:

1.EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) system: The EGR system recirculates a portion of the exhaust gas back into the engine's intake system, which can reduce NOx emissions. Deleting the EGR system involves removing the EGR valve, cooler, and associated plumbing from the engine.

2.DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) system: The DPF system captures and stores soot particles that are emitted from the engine and periodically regenerates them to reduce emissions. Deleting the DPF system involves removing the DPF filter and associated sensors from the exhaust system.

3.DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) system: The DEF system injects a urea-based fluid into the exhaust stream to reduce NOx emissions. Deleting the DEF system involves removing the DEF tank, injector, and associated plumbing from the vehicle.Buy a def delete kit and choose to use a tuner.
