All In One Delete Kit - Duramax 6.6 L5P, LML, LMM, LLY
Which Duramax Delete Kit Do You Need?
The right Duramax delete kit starts with your truck’s exact model year and engine platform. LLY, LMM, LML, and L5P trucks use different emissions-system layouts, exhaust parts, and tuning requirements, so fitment should always come before price or kit size.
Use the guide below to narrow your choice, then confirm the product page fitment before ordering. Some L5P hardware may cover a wider year range, while certain tuner or ECM-related options may only support specific model years.
| Model Years | Duramax Engine | Common Fitment Search | Best Kit Direction |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2004.5–2005 | 6.6L Duramax LLY | LLY Duramax delete kit | EGR, CCV, and exhaust-flow package for older 6.6L builds |
| 2007.5–2010 | 6.6L Duramax LMM | LMM delete kit, 2008–2010 Duramax delete kit | EGR / DPF hardware with optional CCV and tuner support |
| 2011–2016 | 6.6L Duramax LML | LML delete kit, 2015 / 2016 Duramax delete kit | All-in-one EGR, DPF, DEF, CCV, exhaust, and tuner-based setup |
| 2017–2025 | 6.6L Duramax L5P | L5P delete kit, 2017–2025 Duramax delete kit | Model-year-specific L5P hardware with tuner or ECM compatibility checks |
Best Duramax Delete Kit by Engine Platform
If you are comparing the best Duramax delete kit for your truck, do not shop by the words “full delete” alone. Start with the engine code, then compare the included hardware, tuner support, exhaust configuration, and install requirements.
| Engine Platform | Best For | What to Confirm Before Buying |
|---|---|---|
| L5P Duramax | 2017–2025 Silverado / Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD owners | Confirm exact model year, EGR / DPF / DEF / CCV hardware, tuner support, and ECM-related requirements. |
| LML Duramax | 2011–2016 trucks needing a more complete emissions-system package | Check whether your truck is 2011–2015, 2015.5–2016, or listed under a broader 2011–2016 fitment range. |
| LMM Duramax | 2007.5–2010 trucks with EGR and DPF-related restrictions | Decide whether you need a hardware-only setup or a package with tuner support. |
| LLY Duramax | 2004.5–2005 owners looking for a simpler older-platform upgrade | Focus on EGR, CCV, intake, and exhaust fitment rather than assuming newer-platform parts will fit. |
Duramax Delete Kits Full Overview
SPELAB offers platform-specific Duramax packages for owners who want to order the right hardware in one place instead of piecing together mismatched parts. For broader supporting upgrades, you can also browse Duramax performance parts by engine platform.
LLY Duramax Delete Kit: 2004.5–2005
The LLY platform is best served by a simpler fitment-first setup. A LLY all-in-one setup is aimed at owners who want EGR-related hardware, intake-side support, CCV routing options, and exhaust-flow upgrades matched to the older 6.6L platform.
Before ordering, confirm whether your build needs only EGR-related parts or a broader package. Older trucks can have previous owner modifications, aftermarket exhaust work, or missing factory hardware, so verifying what is already on the truck matters.
LMM Duramax Delete Kit: 2007.5–2010
The LMM platform is where many buyers start comparing EGR, DPF, CCV, exhaust, and tuner-related options together. If you want a more complete order, the LMM hardware-and-tuner package is the stronger direction than buying individual parts one at a time.
Choose this route if you are trying to reduce part-matching guesswork. If you already have tuning handled, compare the included hardware carefully so you do not pay for components you do not need.
LML Duramax Delete Kit: 2011–2016
The LML platform needs closer attention because 2011–2015 and 2015.5–2016 trucks may not always use the same exact package. For buyers who want the broadest starting point, the LML all-in-one package is designed around a more complete EGR, DPF, DEF, CCV, exhaust, and tuner-based configuration.
If you only need EGR-related hardware, a standalone LML EGR kit may be the better fit. If you want fewer separate orders and a more complete off-road package, compare the full kit options first.
L5P Duramax Delete Kit: 2017–2025
The L5P platform requires the most careful compatibility check because newer trucks use more advanced electronics and model-year-specific control requirements. Some L5P products may list broad hardware fitment, while certain tuner, unlock, or ECM-related options may support a narrower year range.
For L5P buyers, the safest buying order is simple: confirm the model year, confirm the included components, then confirm whether the package is hardware-only or tuner-included. If you are still budgeting the full build, review the L5P delete cost guide before choosing a package.
What Are EGR, DPF, DEF, and CCV Components?
When comparing Duramax delete kit options, the included components matter as much as the engine name. A smaller kit may focus on one system, while an all-in-one package may include several parts that need to work together.
- EGR-related hardware
- Focuses on exhaust gas recirculation components and intake-side restrictions.
- DPF-related exhaust parts
- Focuses on exhaust-flow changes and backpressure reduction for off-road or closed-course setups.
- DEF-related components
- Applies mainly to later emissions-equipped platforms where SCR / DEF systems are part of the truck’s factory configuration.
- CCV reroute components
- Help manage crankcase ventilation routing and reduce oil vapor entering the intake path.
- Tuner or ECM-related support
- May be required depending on the platform, model year, and kit configuration.

Welds look solid and professional quality, I have not installed them yet but I did put them in place under truck to ensure length and thus far everything looks good. I will give an update after install and on the road with them
Product came in earlier than expected and is made out of high quality materials. SPELAB hasn't let me down yet!!
The product installed perfectly high-quality superior part. For my 2022 f350. Coolant reroute kit.
Everything works great all parts fit hangers fit have pictures if needed
This is a really nice set up inexpensive but well-made. Make sure you use 1/4 inch drive and torque wrench, if you get the half socket 10mm and multi size extensions even better it’ll make getting those two back bolts easy
Makes truck breathe better and will definitely blow your y bridge out so do that while you’re in there looks great and fits up pretty good not perfect
Installed this SPELAB EGR Throttle Valve Delete on my 6.7 Cummins and the fitment was perfect. The kit was well made, installation was straightforward, and all the necessary parts were included. Everything lined up as it should and the truck runs great. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality replacement component.
I originally had the Banks Monster Ram intake with grid heater delete, and costed $1200. Recently I decided to give Spelab a try for their 3.5” pusher style intake with grid heater delete. Fraction of the price and performs the same. Only regret I have was my purchase of Banks.
Great product
Good product fast sipping was not that bad of a job
Nicely done ✅
Easy installation and everything fit perfectly. The kit is well-made, comes with the necessary components, and worked as expected. Shipping was fast and the quality exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable EGR delete kit.
Very impressed with the quality of the cooler. Couldn’t find any instructions for the install. However, I was able to figure it out and plan to post a video for anyone else who may need help with the install.
Installed this on my 2015 6.7 Powerstroke and everything fit perfectly. Quality parts, straightforward install, and noticeable improvement in engine temps and reliability. Would definitely recommend this kit to anyone doing an EGR delete.
Installed on a 2019 Ram cab and chassis with no issues. Fitment was good, quality looks solid, and throttle response feels better. Definitely recommend this intake horn/grid heater upgrade.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. In most Duramax delete setups, a tuner is needed to recalibrate the ECU and help prevent warning lights or limp mode after EGR, DPF, or DEF-related modifications.
Tuner compatibility depends on your engine platform and model year, so always confirm whether the kit includes a tuner and whether it supports your exact L5P, LML, LMM, or LLY truck before ordering.
Choose based on how much control you want over tuning and power levels.
A V2 tuner is usually better for basic tuning needs, while a V3 tuner may support more advanced setups.
SOTF, or Switch On The Fly, is useful for drivers who want to switch between power levels without reflashing each time.
Before choosing, confirm that the tuner supports your exact Duramax engine and model year.
No. SPELAB Duramax delete kits are intended for off-road, racing, or closed-course use only.
They are not intended for street-legal applications or vehicles required to meet emissions regulations. Customers are responsible for checking and following all local, state, and federal emissions laws before purchase or installation.
Experienced diesel DIY owners may be able to install some older-platform kits with the right tools, lift access, and mechanical experience. Newer L5P setups are more complex because of electronics, tuning, and fitment checks, so professional installation is often the safer choice.
Start with your model year, then confirm the engine platform before ordering. Most 2004.5–2005 trucks are LLY, 2007.5–2010 trucks are LMM, 2011–2016 trucks are LML, and 2017–2025 trucks are L5P. If your truck has been swapped, modified, or falls near a split-year range, confirm by VIN, engine label, or product fitment before buying.
Choose a hardware-only kit if you already have compatible tuning, exhaust parts, or supporting components. Choose an all-in-one kit if you want EGR, DPF, DEF, CCV, exhaust, and tuner-related components matched in one order. For most buyers, the all-in-one route reduces part-matching guesswork.
L5P hardware fitment and tuner compatibility do not always follow the same year range. Some parts may physically fit a wider 2017–2025 range, while certain tuner, OBDII, unlock, or ECM-related options may only support narrower model years. Always confirm both hardware fitment and tuner support on the product page.
A full Duramax delete kit may include combinations of EGR, DPF, DEF, CCV, exhaust, and tuner-related components, depending on the engine platform and product configuration.
Always check the individual product page to confirm exactly what is included before ordering.
A 4-inch setup is usually the more balanced choice for fitment, sound, and daily drivability. A 5-inch setup is often chosen by buyers who want a deeper tone and a larger exhaust layout. The better choice depends on your truck, cab and bed configuration, sound preference, and product compatibility.
Confirm your model year, engine platform, cab and bed configuration, exhaust size, included components, tuner compatibility, and whether your truck already has aftermarket parts installed. Also confirm that the product is appropriate for off-road, racing, or closed-course use only and that you understand your local emissions regulations.
