Why Upgrade Your Factory Thermal Bypass Valve?
The factory thermal bypass valve regulates transmission fluid flow according to temperature. However, its internal thermostat can continue to restrict cooler flow, even when fully open. A sticking or malfunctioning valve can further compromise transmission cooling.
The SPELAB Full-Flow Thermal Bypass Valve eliminates this restrictive bypass function, allowing transmission fluid to flow through the cooler without the factory thermostat limiting circulation.

I noticed a past review complaining about the O-rings being the wrong size—just wanted to clarify that those O-rings aren't for the bypass block itself; they are meant for the metal threaded filter adapter. product was good except the included o rings werent even close to being the right size. you would think the right size would come with it for your year of truck or just send a couple sizes that were used with cummins
