Installation

Before Installation

• Allow the engine to cool completely and disconnect the batteries.
• Confirm the truck is equipped with the 5.9L Cummins and retains compatible factory-spec connection locations.
• Compare all supplied pipes, couplers, clamps, O-rings and hardware with the product images before removing the factory components.

Basic Installation Steps

1. Remove the factory hot-side and cold-side charge pipes and the factory intake horn.
2. Clean and dry the turbocharger, intercooler and intake connection surfaces.
3. Install the supplied O-rings and intake elbow, making sure the sealing surfaces are clean and evenly seated.
4. Loosely assemble the aluminum pipes, silicone couplers and constant-tension clamps.
5. Align the pipes so they do not contact the fan, belts, wiring, bodywork or high-temperature components.
