Exhaust header VS manifold, which is the better choice?

The structural differences between exhaust headers and manifolds are the material and size. From the material, exhaust headers are made of lighter, thinner steel, while exhaust manifolds are made of thick iron. Exhaust headers are also longer than exhaust manifolds. When in use, exhaust manifolds create back pressure, which lowers performance. Because each cylinder of the engine is given its own tube, however, headers eliminate this problem; thus, allowing the gases to exit without the creation of back pressure. Therefore, exhaust headers are a BETTER choice than an exhaust manifold.

Header combo with y pipe

Ups strike screwed up my shipping, I got the headers I tried to install them in my 2014 1500 silverado with 6.2 engine headers hit frame it all bolted right in thought may be motor mounts were bad so replaced them on truck with only 64000 miles on it and that was not the problem so ordered a set from another company and they bolted right up no problems

I'm very sorry. Because there have been a lot of packages lately. Logistics carriers are running low on capacity, which has led to this problem. It has brought you a very unpleasant shopping experience.

The 5' exhaust with the 6" tip looks and sounds really good. The egr delete its made really nice and fits perfect and looks good.

Good kit, even better price point.

Overall, great kit. Wish I would have ordered the can bus plugs at the same time. A few modifications were needed to make everything work but nothing too difficult if you can tackle this type of work to begin with.

Fixed the problem

With my old kit that kept leaking, an abnormal seal size and changed colors as the plastic got warm. I installed the Spelab kit and fits good and have the reassurance of the locking ring to keep it in.
