Ford 9.75-Inch 12-Bolt Rear Differential Cover
This SPELAB Differential Cover for Ford F150 trucks, SUVs and vans has a patterned fins and is extra capacity. This is a heavy duty replacement for the stock 12 bolt cover on Ford Sterling 9.75 (9 3/4) inch differentials.
Product Functions
Protects the differential, seals the differential, stores differential fluid.
Innovative points:
1. The external heat sink design increases the contact area between the differential cover and the surrounding air, enhancing heat dissipation performance.
2. The internal diversion groove design aligns with the direction of liquid flow in the differential gear's rotation, ensuring maximum flow rate for better lubrication.
3. The use of aluminum alloy material significantly improves cooling performance compared to the commonly used iron material. When comparing billet to cast products, billet items are often considered more durable and built for long-lasting performance.
4. An external observation mirror with a floating ball is used to monitor the oil level. Traditional observation mirrors in the market may darken over time, reducing visibility. Therefore, the floating ball allows us to monitor the oil level even if the mirror darkens.
5. The outside with black wrinkle paint providing rust resistance.

The product was delivered sooner than expected and the product is very well made and added a nice touch to my truck.
Overall a good product for the price. I would not recommend using the included Allen key bolts and gasket. The Allen key bolts are prone to stripping if you get any amount of rust that seizes the threads. I bought grade 8 hex head flange bolts and a lube locker gasket. I also used the Ford recommended low strength loctite to prevent them from backing out. I welded up my own washer/stud for the three mounting spots for the brake lines and wiring on the rear axle. I would purchase again, it's just good to know what you need.

Looks great. Fit on my 2023 Ford F150 Powerboost. I cut the spare tire crossmember off to get to it better. Happy to be able to change fluid easily. Dont know of long term performance yet. I've only had it installed for 3 weeks.
I ordered this diff cover and received it in just a few days. I love the features on this one.
My only complaint is that the allen hex head bolts are terrible about stripping out when trying to torque the bolts. A couple of them are difficult to access ended up stripping before I got it to torque specs. A normal bolt head is preferred by me! Make it easier not harder!.

Even at 70 years old I still enjoy performing my own maintenance on my vehicles. The new rear cover seemed like a no brainer for someone like me. The drain plug, full plug and window will make my hobby much easier with age.
Diff cover was easy to replace and is a direct fit. The fill and drain plugs both have magnets any will make maintenance on my rear diff much easier. The red looks really good on my truck.

Installed this billet version onto my 2019 Roush F150 recently. I wanted a cover that had the proper fluid flow vaning and fill and drain plugs to make future fluid changes easier, as I plan to renew the fluid every 30k miles. The sight glass so you can see the level and the condition of the fluid is also a great feature. I did quite a bit of research on which cover I wanted to install and saw the fluid flow issues with the square back covers, whereas this one has the proper curved design and vanes in it to direct the fluid that's coming over the top to the correct places of the differential for proper lubrication. I went with the billet one so that it's stronger than the lower priced cast version, as I keep my vehicles forever (20 years and 200k miles or more) and would rather do it right one time than have to do it again. The magnetic plugs to capture any ferrous gear wear is also a nice benefit. Installed with LubeLocker gasket.

Looks good, is it practical yeah if your gonna do some rear diff oil changes in your vehicles life. But other than that idk what to think about it tbh
