If you drive a 6.0L Powerstroke, you know the factory valve covers are a weak link. Made of plastic, they are prone to warping and cracking after years of heat cycles, leading to messy oil leaks. Worse yet, the stock mounting system exposes your sensitive FICM (Fuel Injection Control Module) to engine vibrations that destroy solder joints and leave you stranded.

Q: Can I use my original Ford oil fill cap?
A: No. The factory oil cap thread pitch is different. We include a custom Billet Aluminum Oil Cap in this kit that is specifically machined to fit these covers perfectly.

Q: Does this completely stop oil from entering the intake (CCV)?
A: The integrated baffled box significantly reduces oil mist carryover compared to a stock open system. However, on high-mileage engines with excessive "blow-by," some oil vapor may still pass through. It is a vast improvement over stock but does not replace a heavy-duty air/oil separator for engines with severe ring wear.

Q: Why are the rubber grommets on the brackets important?
A: The 6.0L diesel vibrates heavily. If you mount the FICM (computer) directly to metal without dampening, the vibrations will crack the internal circuit board. Our included rubber isolators mimic the factory protection to ensure your electronics last.

Q: Is the oil fill cap compatible with OEM parts?
A: No. The billet valve cover uses a different thread pattern and cannot accept the OEM oil cap or extension.
