Upgrade the weak link in your LML's charge air system. The SPELAB All-Aluminum Intercooler is a heavy-duty reliability solution specifically engineered for the 2011-2016 Chevrolet/GMC 2500HD/3500HD.

The LML Duramax is a towing powerhouse, but the factory intercooler utilizes crimped plastic end tanks that are prone to cracking under heavy loads or high boost. SPELAB replaces this failure point with 100% aluminum end tanks, ensuring your truck stays on the road and out of the shop.

Featuring a robust 64mm thick Tube-Fin core and weighing in at over 36 lbs, this unit provides a significant increase in cooling capacity over stock. Unlike overly dense competition cores that can restrict airflow to the radiator, our engineered Tube-Fin design maintains the "Flow-Through" capability essential for the LML's cooling stack, keeping your engine coolant temps safe while delivering denser, cooler intake air.

Tube-Fin Intercooler Key Features

    LML trucks are often used for heavy towing. While you need cooler intake air, you cannot afford to block airflow to your radiator. Our 64mm Tube-Fin core increases cooling volume significantly but uses a fin design that allows ample ambient air to pass through to the main cooling system. It prevents the engine overheating issues often caused by "wall-like" bar-and-plate cores.

  • Eliminate Plastic Failures:
    The stock LML intercooler is a temporary part living on borrowed time. Plastic end tanks crimped to the core will eventually leak. Our unit is solid aluminum, welded, and pressure-tested. It is a permanent fix for boost leaks.
