Warning
CAUTION!!! Never work on a hot vehicle. Serious injury in the form of burns can result if the vehicle has been in use. Allow vehicle to cool prior to installation. Always wear eye protection when working on or under any vehicle.
Note: For your safety we recommend disconnecting any negative battery terminals whenever working on any vehicle.
Use caution not to get any dust, debris, or tools left where they may enter the system.
Installation Notes
Note: Prior to installation, please compare the parts that you have received with the bill of materials listed above to ensure that you have all the necessary parts for installation.
Installation Steps
Step 1: Remove the Intake Tube and Silencer
Remove the intake tube and silencer as shown in photo above.
Step 2: Remove the PCV Crossover Tube
Remove the PCV crossover tube by removing 6mm bolts on each valve cover and loosening hose clamp in center (see arrow). The 6mm bolts will be needed later.
Note: Here is the crossover tube removed from vehicle. Make sure you save this.
Step 3: Mount the Billet Fittings
Mount the billet fittings using the 6mm bolts removed in step 2 as shown. One for each valve cover.
Step 4: Install the Cap
Install the cap supplied with kit using a zip tie as shown by arrow. Snug the zip tie with pliers and cut off excess.
Step 5: Measure and Cut the Supplied Hose
The recommended hose routing is to route both hoses so they exit in the passenger side wheel well. This will minimize potential odor issues in the cabin with the drivers side hose. Measure 5.5 ft. of supplied hose and cut.
Step 6: Install the PCV Adapter
Install the PCV adapter to the valve cover. If your valve cover doesn’t have a plastic box attached to it, use the included 90° adapter.
Step 7: Attach the Shorter Hose
Attach the shorter hose to the fitting on the passenger side and attach with supplied hose clamp. Join the two hoses together with zip ties and run parallel as shown above.
Step 8: Route the Hose Through the Wheel Well
Route the hose through the wheel well on outboard side of frame and at rear of upper control arm as shown on left photo. Make sure to route on outboard side of frame to properly clear the exhaust system.
Step 9: Attach Both Hoses to the Torsion Bar
Attach both hoses to torsion bar with two zip ties as shown in right photo. Trim excess hose, leaving approx. 2 in. below torsion bar.
