EGR Delete Function and Considerations

An EGR delete can bring about several benefits. These include:

Improved Fuel Economy and Engine Longevity
An EGR delete helps you restore your diesel engine’s power levels which, in turn, also restores your overall fuel efficiency. Since an EGR delete kit sends the exhaust gas away from your car’s engine, it starts to run cleaner, too. Not only does it make the process increasingly efficient, but it also reduces the chances of DPF (diesel particulate filter) failure. So, overall, with this aftermarket kit, you can see an increase of up to 20% in your fuel economy. Along with that, the EGR delete kit can also improve your engine’s longevity.

Reduced Engine Temperature
EGR valves naturally contain a high content of soot. When the EGR system’s valve or coolers get clogged with soot, the exhaust gases start to circulate more around the system, resulting in a blockage. As a result, the temperatures around the engine rise and you experience a reduction in the engine’s power. However, when you bypass this, lower exhaust gas is produced. In turn, during operation, your vehicle experiences a reduced engine coolant temperature.

Makes truck breathe better and will definitely blow your y bridge out so do that while you’re in there looks great and fits up pretty good not perfect

SPELAB 2006 LBZ

I liked this product because it did get that nasty EGR off my truck. Only thing I didn't like was there was maybe some loose metal stuck to the inside of the pipe? I'm not sure what that was about. I ended up having to buy a full Y-Bridge kit anyway at no fault to your kit , only because the stock LBZ Y-Bridge is prone to failure.

Good for the price

Went together good but some brackets don’t line up good. Haven’t drove the truck with it on yet because I broke the pcv fittings so waiting on those to come in but as of now so far so good. Can’t beat it for the price

Good maybe?

I’m out of town so I haven’t seen the product yet but had someone open it and it seems like it’s good quality. Shipping was a nightmare. A week and a half after it was supposed to arrive I emailed them asking where it was and they sent me a screenshot saying it was almost there but in the screenshot it said it hadn’t even shipped yet. Other then having to email and demand that my part be shipped it was a good buy.
