Ram 6.7L Diesel Delete Kits for 2500/3500 Trucks
Looking for delete kit options for your Ram 2500 or Ram 3500 with a 6.7L diesel engine? SPELAB offers all-in-one and standalone delete components for select Ram 6.7L diesel trucks. Available configurations may include DPF, DEF, EGR, and CCV reroute components depending on the kit selected. These parts are designed for off-road, closed-course, competition, or agricultural use where permitted.
Choose the Right Delete Kit Setup for Your Ram
SPELAB offers a range of Dodge Ram 6.7L diesel delete kit configurations to suit every kind of truck owner—from basic EGR delete kits to complete DPF/DEF/EGR/CCV all-in-one delete solutions, as well as advanced options like the Intake Manifold + Grid Heater Delete. All kits are precisely engineered for 2007–2021 Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 models equipped with the 6.7L diesel engine.
The All-in-One Kit is our most popular setup, including a high-flow race pipe, CNC block-off plates, a coolant reroute hose, and a CCV reroute cap. When paired with mandatory custom off-road tuning, sourced separately, the right hardware setup can support improved drivability, reduced emissions-system related issues, and smoother throttle response. Owners of the 6.7L inline-6 diesel report noticeably reduced turbo lag, a 10–15% drop in Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs), and smoother throttle response while towing.
For drivers upgrading in phases, SPELAB also offers standalone delete components, including EGR-only or DPF-only delete kits. Advanced users can take it further with the intake manifold and grid heater delete, designed to improve airflow, reduce intake temps, and maximize combustion efficiency.
Ram 6.7L Diesel Delete Kit Fitment by Model Year
Fitment varies by model year, truck configuration, and the specific kit selected. Before ordering, confirm your Ram 2500 or Ram 3500 model year, pickup vs. cab/chassis configuration, exhaust layout, and required tuning support.
Use the guide below as a starting point when comparing available SPELAB delete kit options:
| Model Year | Common Truck Fitment | What to Check Before Ordering |
|---|---|---|
| 2007.5–2012 | Ram 2500/3500 6.7L diesel | DPF/EGR layout, pickup vs. cab/chassis, exhaust size |
| 2013–2018 | Ram 2500/3500 6.7L diesel with DEF/SCR system | DEF/SCR components, EGR layout, tuning requirements |
| 2019–2024 | 5th Gen Ram 2500/3500 6.7L diesel | Updated emissions layout, engine bay changes, kit-specific fitment |
Our kits are thoroughly tested for compatibility across all drivetrain configurations, including the 68RFE automatic, Aisin AS69RC heavy-duty automatic, and G56 manual transmissions, as well as both Single Rear Wheel (SRW) and Dual Rear Wheel (DRW) setups. Most kits are designed as direct-fit hardware, but installation requirements can vary by year, configuration, and supporting tuning setup.
Custom Tuning Required: Maximize Reliability and Power
Hardware is only half the equation. To successfully install a SPELAB delete kit on your 6.7L inline-6 diesel, your truck’s Engine Control Module (ECM) must be recalibrated with custom delete tuning (via platforms like EZ Lynk, MM3, or specialized programmers).
Running a delete kit without proper tuning will result in a dashboard full of Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), a vehicle stuck in "Limp Mode," or the dreaded "DEF See Dealer" countdown. A proper delete tune works alongside our hardware to:
- Disable emissions sensors: Electronically shuts off the EGR, DPF, and DEF systems so the truck no longer searches for them.
- Stop regeneration cycles: Completely halts active and passive exhaust regen, saving fuel and preventing diesel fuel from washing down the cylinder walls.
- Optimize VGT mapping: Adjusts the Variable Geometry Turbo vanes to improve exhaust flow, lower Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs), and prevent common turbo codes like P2262.
⚠️ WARNING: All SPELAB DPF, DEF, and EGR delete kits are strictly intended for off-road, closed-course competition, or agricultural use only. It is the buyer's responsibility to verify and comply with all local, state, and federal emissions laws prior to purchase and installation.
Why Choose SPELAB for Your Ram 6.7L Diesel Deletes?
The aftermarket is flooded with cheap, poorly manufactured delete pipes that warp, leak, and crack under pressure. At SPELAB, we focus on fitment, sealing, material strength, and installation completeness, because heavy-duty diesel owners need hardware that can handle heat, vibration, towing, and long-term use.
Here is why thousands of heavy-duty truck owners trust SPELAB:
- Premium Materials & Construction: We don't use cheap stamped metal. Our race pipes are constructed from heavy-wall tubing with precision TIG welds, and our EGR block-off plates are CNC-machined from solid billet aluminum to prevent warping under high heat.
- Guaranteed Leak-Free Fitment: Exhaust leaks rob power and sound terrible. Our thick, machine-flattened flanges are designed to mate perfectly with your factory exhaust and intake components, ensuring a tight, secure seal every time.
- All-Inclusive Kits: There is nothing worse than being stuck in your driveway missing a bolt. SPELAB kits come complete with all the necessary high-temp gaskets, factory-style O-rings, and heavy-duty mounting hardware required for a direct bolt-on installation.
- Built for Extreme EGTs: Whether you are running a 150HP street tune or hauling heavy equipment up a grade, our components are engineered to withstand extreme Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs) without cracking or blowing out gaskets.
When you choose SPELAB, you are investing in precision-engineered hardware that fits right the first time and delivers reliable, unlocked performance for your inline-6 diesel.

I was hesitant with a delete because I’m not a fan of loud sound, but the muffler works fantastic. Sounds nearly stock at cruising and idle with the muffler and I love it
Love spelab products diff cover is so mint the charge air cooler pipes look sick and the rad shroud pops when you open the hood Looking at other products but seem to be unavailable at the moment 🤘
These guys are great. They have fast shipping and their product is great. I wish they had more parts for my truck but they cant make them all i suppose. They added quite a bit of HP to my build. It turned out great
Best investment i bought and proud to have from SPELAB
Instructions were great, could
Be more detailed but overall great product, install wasn’t bad at all, unfortunately snapped oil dipstick tube following instructions but other than that I would say the plugs in the intake could’ve been put in prior rather than leaving room for install error
Very nice
Good products great pricing
Works great, find out how to wire it on YouTube if you aren’t sure, super easy though only two wires
this 2017 3500 Ram with now 111274 miles was used by PO to pull 5th wheel and now it pulls a 30 ft airstream TT.. I change out fluid at 96K with OEM cover and started looking for replacement.. this is great with magnetic drain plugs which is a great help as we change out oil every 35K miles as we tow a lot..
This new alum cover with fins is much like the AAM unit used on teh HO engines from factory with not quite the amount of and placement of fins but in the end this accomplished the goal of keeping the fluid cooler especially when towing.
One thing i did notice was the no actual instruction on what was proper level of oil in sight glass.. Usually on OEM cover you fill till the oil dribbles out the fill plug on cover and that if good..
on this model I noticed the sight glass was lower than the OEM plug determining the level need to be not the middle of the sight glass but at the TOP of the sight glass.. just saying.. the inside has fluid diversion fins so help move the oil to ponion gear and the side bearing on housing..
The fit and finish are great and it looks super cool now in the alum color.. I though about spray painting and sanding the edge of the fins to have that nice contrast but left it silver.
highly recommend and the price is right..
Order came in a few days earlier than the expected delivery day pretty easy install it makes the engine may look a lot better
I purchased a pair of Spelab Electric Cutouts for my BMW. Everything in the kit was shipped quickly, was perfectly packaged and the quality of their product is top notch. I installed the cutouts and I couldn't happier with the way they work. I was even able to pair the remote to the Homelink buttons to open and close the valves.
Hoping to gain a sponsorship soon I use yalls parts on my personal build and customers builds
Very good quality kit and was easy to install!! I highly recommend it!!
Excellent quality product that definitely delivers a difference in throttle response. You can tell that the engine is breathing much better. I highly recommend this to everyone out there. Shipping was fast too!! And to top it off, the dreaded engine killing grid heater plate is gone for good! Look how bad the grid heater was after only 46,000 mi. You can barely see thru the grids. Ridiculous design by Cummins/Ram. They should be ashamed for putting that piece of junk on such a good engine. Next up, turbo tubes!
Fit my 08 6.4 extended cab just fine. Sounds great with a 5x7 tip
Frequently Asked Questions
Our Cummins All-in-One delete kit include all the hard parts needed to physically remove the restrictive factory emissions equipment. This typically features a high-flow exhaust race pipe (to replace the DPF and SCR/DEF filters), CNC-machined EGR block-off plates, high-temp silicone coolant reroute hoses, and a CCV (Crankcase Ventilation) reroute kit.
Absolutely. Removing the factory emissions components will cause your truck's ECM to throw dozens of Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and immediately go into Limp Mode. You must use a capable tuning platform (such as EZ Lynk, MM3, or similar devices) loaded with custom delete tunes to electronically shut off the sensors and stop exhaust regeneration cycles.
Our Cummins delete kits are designed as direct-fit upgrades for all 2007.5 through 2021 Ram 2500, Ram 3500, and commercial Cab & Chassis trucks equipped with the 6.7L inline-6 diesel engine.
By removing the massive exhaust restrictions and applying proper tuning, you can expect dramatic improvements. Typical gains range from +50 HP for safe, heavy towing tunes, up to +150 HP for aggressive street tunes. Additionally, most owners experience a significant drop in Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs), much faster turbo spool-up, and a 2–4 MPG increase in overall fuel economy.
No. All SPELAB DPF, DEF, and EGR delete components are strictly sold for off-road, closed-course competition, or agricultural use only. It is illegal to use these products on public highways or street-registered vehicles. Buyers must verify and comply with all local, state, and federal emissions laws prior to purchasing.
Fitment depends on the exact kit, exhaust layout, and tuning plan. For a 2020 Ram 2500 6.7L diesel, check whether the product is listed for 5th Gen Ram trucks and confirm pickup vs. cab/chassis compatibility before ordering.
Yes. Delete hardware requires proper off-road tuning sourced separately. Without the correct tuning, the truck may trigger emissions-related codes, limp mode, regen issues, or DEF warning messages.
DPF components relate to the diesel particulate filter in the exhaust, DEF/SCR components relate to diesel exhaust fluid treatment, EGR components recirculate exhaust gas back into the intake, and CCV reroute components manage crankcase ventilation. Not every kit includes every component, so always check the selected product package.
