Muffler Delete Pipe
Muffler Delete Pipe
SPELAB Muffler Delete Pipe is the easiest way to make the existing SPELAB exhaust system on your truck or SUV louder. These muffler delete pipes are constructed out of 4" or 5" stainless steel to match your SPELAB exhaust system and fit your budget. The flair on both ends of the tubing means this delete pipe will slip in the place where SPELAB muffler is without cutting or modifications.

Product came in earlier than expected and is made out of high quality materials. SPELAB hasn't let me down yet!!
The product installed perfectly high-quality superior part. For my 2022 f350. Coolant reroute kit.
Everything works great all parts fit hangers fit have pictures if needed
This is a really nice set up inexpensive but well-made. Make sure you use 1/4 inch drive and torque wrench, if you get the half socket 10mm and multi size extensions even better it’ll make getting those two back bolts easy
Makes truck breathe better and will definitely blow your y bridge out so do that while you’re in there looks great and fits up pretty good not perfect
Installed this SPELAB EGR Throttle Valve Delete on my 6.7 Cummins and the fitment was perfect. The kit was well made, installation was straightforward, and all the necessary parts were included. Everything lined up as it should and the truck runs great. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality replacement component.
I originally had the Banks Monster Ram intake with grid heater delete, and costed $1200. Recently I decided to give Spelab a try for their 3.5” pusher style intake with grid heater delete. Fraction of the price and performs the same. Only regret I have was my purchase of Banks.
Great product
Good product fast sipping was not that bad of a job
Nicely done ✅
Easy installation and everything fit perfectly. The kit is well-made, comes with the necessary components, and worked as expected. Shipping was fast and the quality exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable EGR delete kit.
Very impressed with the quality of the cooler. Couldn’t find any instructions for the install. However, I was able to figure it out and plan to post a video for anyone else who may need help with the install.
Installed this on my 2015 6.7 Powerstroke and everything fit perfectly. Quality parts, straightforward install, and noticeable improvement in engine temps and reliability. Would definitely recommend this kit to anyone doing an EGR delete.
Installed on a 2019 Ram cab and chassis with no issues. Fitment was good, quality looks solid, and throttle response feels better. Definitely recommend this intake horn/grid heater upgrade.
Its worked perfectly so far. Make sure to buy one that is the correct size and that there is room for it. The motor is larger then I expected but made it work and ive used it everytime I drive

Not on public roads in the U.S. The Clean Air Act prohibits removing factory mufflers as they are certified emissions components. Noise regulations vary by state and city—most require a muffler for on-highway vehicles. Muffler deletes are strictly off-road and race-use only. If you need a louder exhaust on a street truck, consider a flow-through muffler or a dual-mode exhaust system instead.
Expect a significant volume increase over stock. Most diesel trucks gain 5–10 dB with a muffler delete, and the sound shifts from muffled rumble to a raw, tractor-like drone at highway speeds. The tone also changes—lower-frequency exhaust notes become more pronounced without the baffling of a factory muffler. Test fit a straight pipe section first if possible to gauge your tolerance before committing.
Yes, drone is the most common complaint with muffler deletes. Drone is a resonant low-frequency vibration that becomes most noticeable at 1,500–2,500 RPM (cruising speed). Longer wheelbase trucks (like the Ford F-250/F-350) are more prone to drone due to longer exhaust pipe length. Adding a Helmholtz chamber resonator or switching to a glasspack-style muffler reduces drone while still opening up the exhaust note.
Modest gains only. A muffler delete reduces exhaust backpressure slightly, which can improve turbo response and slightly raise peak power. Real-world results are typically 5–15 HP on a stock or mildly tuned diesel. The power gain is much smaller than a downpipe, delete kit, or intake upgrade. Choose a muffler delete primarily for sound, not for performance.
Yes. Most SPELAB muffler delete pipes use band clamps or slip-fit connections at the factory muffler location. If your truck has a welded muffler assembly, you'll need to cut the pipes and either weld on new flanges or use a clamp-on adapter. Most late-model diesel trucks (2010+) have bolt-on mufflers that make the delete a straightforward 30–60 minute job with basic tools.
