Description

Most post-2007 diesel vehicles like the Ford 6.7 Powerstroke come equipped with a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) to meet emissions standards, but these systems often lead to higher backpressure, reduced fuel economy, and increased maintenance costs.

Installing a 6.7 Powerstroke delete pipe—also known as a straight pipe—removes these restrictions, boosting exhaust flow and MPG. When choosing between 4” or 5” pipes, the 5 inch straight pipe delivers a deeper tone with less drone, making it a top choice for towing and performance builds.

Fitment

  • Ford F-250 F-350 F-450 Super Duty 6.7L Powerstroke Diesel: 2011-2024
  • Does not fit Cab & Chassis (Only SPES08793-ES08019SP fits Cab & Chassis models)

Specification

Exhaust Material T-409 Stainless Steel, it is magnetic.
Thickness 2mm thick for long-lasting durability and heat resistance.
Inlet Diameter  4.0"/5.0‘’
mandrel-bent construction Maximum flow efficiency, helping your diesel breathe easier

Benifits

Expect to see a significant increase in fuel mileage. If your DPF is plugged up your probably averaging about 13-14 mpg. More or less depending on the severity of the restriction. After deleting the DPF/CAT expect to get a combined mileage of 18-19 mpg.

  • It removes the need to service the DPF at regular intervals (cleaning, replacement)
  • A DPF delete will remove the possibility of a DPF failure which could cause expensive diesel repairs
  • Due to less exhaust backpressure, the DPF delete increases exhaust flow and therefore increases the performance of your motor!
  • Paired with an ECU remap, the DPF delete is proven to increase power and torque for all vehicles

Installation

Install takes about 1hr with basic hand tools done on the ground of your driveway or garage. Quicker if you have automotive style lift. Cutting may be be required to fit shorter wheelbase bed/cab configurations. Clamps, hangers and hardware are included. You may have to re-use some factory hardware.

Tuner Required for Installation

Installing a 6.7 Powerstroke delete pipe requires more than just swapping out hardware. When removing of the DPF, CAT, SCR, and/or DOC involves removing and eliminating emission related sensors. A DPF delete capable tuner is required to prevent any check engine light or diagnostic trouble codes from setting.

4” vs 5” Straight Pipe Comparison

When choosing a 6.7 Powerstroke delete pipe, the most common options are 4-inch and 5-inch straight pipes.
The 4-inch straight pipe delivers a tighter, raspier exhaust note—especially noticeable at lower RPMs—making it ideal for daily driving or mildly tuned setups where excessive drone is undesirable.
In contrast, the 5 inch straight pipe 6.7 Powerstroke offers a deeper, more refined tone with less high-pitch resonance. It excels in high-output builds and towing scenarios, where increased exhaust flow is beneficial.

Driver feedback suggests:

  • 4”straight pipe is great for stock-to-lightly-modded trucks and a quieter cabin

  • 5”straight pipe is perfect for aggressive builds, deeper tone lovers, or anyone maximizing exhaust performance
