Truck Model/Year and Errors

ALL VEHICLES: The Mini Maxx V2 does not support the factory pyrometer/EGT probes.  Be sure to unplug all of them. If you need EGT readings you can add a docking station to the Mini Maxx.

2013-2021 RAM: We've had issues with the boost dropping off to 20 PSI.  We have a BETA file to fix this issue for the 2013-2018 model years in the latest update, we are still working on the 19-21 fix.

2014-2015 RAM: We have been getting reports of a "loping/surging" issue on some 14-15 RAMs.  Updating to version 2.0.0.4 should address this issue.

2011+ Ford Powerstroke: 1) Tuners with older software may throw a P24C6 or P24DA PMS code.  This does not mean you did anything incorrectly, there is an issue with our previous calibrations and specific PCMs.  As of October 2023, this issue has been fixed.  If you are getting either of these codes, update your device. 2) Certain PCM software doesn't get along with our SOTF strategy and will not change power modes, this is rare and affects roughly 7% of the 2011-2019 Fords.

2016 Ford Powerstroke: The 2016 model year does not contain a PCV sensor that the MMV2 looks for resulting in a CEL for code P04E3.  We have completed the fix for this issue, if you have this code you will need to download the fix file from HERE, extract it and copy the "MGGDT.IT1" file into the "FORD" folder on the SD card, then update the firmware on the tuner and reinstall the tune. Only download this file if your truck has the code.

2011+ Duramax LML: The Mini Maxx does not support dual fuel tanks, if you have an LML Cab & Chassis truck with dual fuel tanks, using our tuner will disable the rear tank, this is not advised.  Your boost gauge will not work.

You cannot change Tire size or adjust your Speed Limiter.

2018+ RAM: "Part number not currently supported" Our tuner only supports the original PCM software that has a part number that starts with a number, if your PCM part number starts with a letter the tuner may not work. We are working on an update to fix this issue, if you experience this problem first try the latest update, then you can contact us or return it to your retailer.

2017-2019 Ford Powerstroke: - Our tunes currently don't support the factory EGT sensor, on earlier models, the pyro readout will be wrong but on the 2017+ it will cause issues with boost dropping off and the truck feeling like it has no power.  This will be corrected in a future update but the immediate fix is to unplug the EGT sensor and clear the codes.  The truck will be back to running correctly with the lack of an EGT readout.

-THE THROTTLE POSITION GAUGE WILL NOT WORK, DO NOT USE THIS GAUGE.
