Description

The thermostat can reduce engine wear, deposits and emissions by allowing the engine to warm up as quickly as possible. A failed thermostat housing will likely result in a cooling system leak, or will cause the engine to overheat.

Funtion: When the engine is not hot enough, the coolant is blocked by the thermostat and will not flow through the engine; once the engine reaches its operating temperature (about 195oF ), the thermostat will open.
Design: This thermostats kit comes with the gaskets with two o-rings. The large one is for the pipe that runs behind the engine, the small one goes on the temp sensor. Integrated design simplifies the operation of replacing the thermostat housing.
Open Temperature: 172.4oF/78u2103(the first thermostat)uff0c203oF/95u2103(the second thermostat).
